~ chapter 12 ~

morgan's pov

i had 5 minutes left of the day, i was sat in english which i loved but i've finished my work so i was writing lyrics down, yes i write songs, i sing then and everything but only to myself and i'd never let anyone hear them, jadens in my lesson but he's all the way at the other side of the room so every now and then we exchange looks, my maths lesson went well after jaden calmed me down, he just has that affect on me, science was shit, i left half way through anyways, i was day dreaming and missed the bell go when jaden came over
"come on princess let's get going" he said and oh my god sometimes this boy just knows exactly what to say "princess? that's new" i said as i picked my bag up and walked out with him, he flung his arm over my shoulder as he said "ye, you like it" "sure hossler sure" and from there on out i would be knows as princess, he drove me home and i invited him in but we were instantly stopped by my mum who had a glass of wine in her hand
"and who is this?" she sounded pissed, probably because she's had half a bottle of wine and i've come home without anthony and with a boy "this is anthony's friend, he gave me a lift because he was coming over to hang out with ant" i said so she wouldn't get mad, jaden just nodded "whatever" she said before going back to fill up her glass, i grabbed jadens hand and sped up the stairs while telling ant what i told mum so he would cover for me, when we got to my room i threw my bag down not realising my notebook with all my lyrics fell out and i walked over to my closet

jadens pov

after our encounter with morgan's mum she's stormed upstairs, when we got to her room she threw down her back and went to her closet, her notebook fell out and i couldnt help myself but look, these looked like song lyrics
run me in circles, like you always do

but i'm catching you across the room
these sound quite deep, i flipped the pages, this notebook was full of song lyrics that all seemed quite personal
"what are you doing?" morgan said sounding quite alarmed as she rushed over and snatched the notebook out of my hand "i was just-" she cut me off "don't go through my things!" i don't want her to be mad at me so i stood up and grabbed her hands so she was facing me "i'm sorry it fell out of your bag and i was just curious" i said being completely honest with her, i could see her tearing up so i pulled her into a hug which she reluctantly accepted as i felt her cry into my chest, i sat her down on her bed
"i'm sorry it's just that notebooks very private" she said as she pulled away from the hug "i understand and i'm very sorry i looked through it that was wrong of me" i owned up to any mistake in hope she would forgive me "it's okay you didn't know"

morgan's pov

god i can't even be mad at this boy
"i have one question if i can" he asked and i nodded, he stood up and picked up the notebook and flicked back to the page he first read, i panicked inside as it was the song i wrote about him "who is this song about?" he asked and i sighed "urmm, if i tell you will you promise not to judge me and to keep it a secret?" i asked and he nodded, i sighed again "you" he looked shocked but than really happy "awww that's cute" he said while smiling, i playfully punched his arm "you know you could really go somewhere with your songs, please just come to the studio with me tomorrow" jaden pleaded "jaden i don't -" i started "please, if you hate it that much, you can leave" he argued "fine" god this boy really be making me do anything he could probably convince me to go jet skiing at this rate, what have i gotten myself into "i need to tell ant" i said as i stood up and grabbed him hand and took him to ants room, and let me tell i was not ready for what we walked in on
"hey ant i need to te- oh i'm sorry" i said as i walked out "we not going in?" jaden asked confused "nope" i said as i made my way downstairs knowing someone had to make dinner, and when i got down my mum was passed out of the couch with an empty bottle of wine in her hand, i walked over and threw a blanket over her and took the bottle off her and noticed her phone lighting up, i knew something was up but i didn't realise it was this bad, i took her phone over to the kitchen as i sat down and read the text from my dad

look, jennifer, i don't care anymore, the kids are old enough to understand, and honestly i'm not hiding it anymore we aren't in love and we're divorced, i'm moving out and moving in with claire i'm sorry

as i read the text a tear fell down my face, jaden looked at me confused "hey what's wrong" he asked as he pulled me into a hug "urm, my parents are getting a divorce, well they already did" i said stuttering as i showered him the phone, i pulled out of the hug and went upstairs to anthony's room, i knock and he shouted "BUSY" "i don't care it's important" you could hear the pain in my voice and i stood waiting for ant to come out, he came out shirtless and i peaked into his room to see avani in one of anthony's tops, anthony instantly noticed my tears and pulled me into a hug "what's happened, is it jaden, do i need to beat him up" he said as he shot jaden a death stare, i pulled out of the hug and showed him the phone with the text, i know this was going to hit him harder than it hit me so i signalled for avani to come over as we all, even jaden, engulfed anthony in a hug as he broke down crying, avani and jaden let go but i didnt, i just hugged him tighter, after we had calmed down ant picked mum up and put her in her room, i told him i was going to go to the studio tomorrow, and after we were all okay i started teasing him about him and avani, i was okay with it so it's fine, i went downstairs and started actually making dinner and jaden came down and helped me, i woke my mum up and handed her the phone, i wasn't mad at her because i could tell she took this hard as she had been drinking a lot, she broke down crying in her room and as much as me and my mum didn't get along at the best of times i tried my hardest to comfort her, after she had calmed down i informed her that jaden and avani we're here so she put on a brave face and came down for dinner, after we ate jaden and avani left and we all went to bed
