jadens pov

after i dropped morgan off i waited to make sure she got inside, once she was inside i drove home, i walked into my house to be greeted by my mum, she looked tired and i could hear arguing

'mum, whats going on' i ask with a worried look on my face and then i see haley coming downstairs 'sophie and clayton are arguing again' haley says as we hear a door slam and sophie come storming down the stairs in tears with clayton following, i pull sophie to me and embrace her in a hug as clayton leaves the house slamming the door as sophie bursts out crying, i hug her tighter but i know she won't talk to me about whatever is going on because ill get mad so i pass her over to haley who takes her upstairs as i give my mum a hug 'wheres dad?' i ask 'work' my mum replies tiredly

'soooo how was your date' my mum asked and yes i told my mum about it 'it was amazing, i really like her, im just not sure' i replied 'why not' my mum asked

'well I really like her and the date went really well and I even kissed her at the end an-' I started telling my mum until she cuts me off 'awww you kissed her' she said with a huge smile on her face and her saying it made me smile 'ye but I don't know if its going to go anywhere because I'm friends with Anthony' I said feeling down 'and Anthony wouldn't like that?' my mum questioned 'no, no I don't think anthony would have a problem but one of anthonys friends used him to get to morgan before and ant was pretty torn up but morgan promised herself she wouldn't let anyone hurt Anthony that way anymore so I just don't know if she will get involved with me or not' I rambled to my mum to which she responded 'well the best thing to do is to talk to her and talk to ant otherwise you're just going to let your thoughts speculate in your head' I pulled her into a hug and said thanks, I walked up to my room to find josh and nessa sat there, bryce just walked through the door behind me

'what the hell are you three doing here?' I asked looking at them 'we want to hear about your date' nessa and bryce said in unison 'i got dragged by nessa' josh then said causing me to laugh, so i told them everything including what i talked to my mum about and bryce said 'well I've just been at morgans and she checked with Anthony and I've known this girl my whole life and ive never seen her this happy so i honestly think that she will and you should go for it' and honesty that reasured me because i know how close her and bryce are and i know she wouldn't lie to him, that's really boasted my confidence 'ye i think i will thanks dude' i said as i patted bryce on the shoulder, shortly after they left and i was about to go to bed when i decide to snap morgan saying night and went to bed

~ time skip to monday ~
i woke up on monday morning after a weekend of doing nothing to hear sophie and clayton shouting and arguing again, i've had enough of this it's all i've heard all weekend, so i was instantly in a bad mood and there was only one person i wanted to see, morgan, we had been on the phone basically all weekend, i haven't claimed her yet but i will, i decide to call her and see if she wanted a ride to school instead of going with anthony and bryce

i was wondering if you want to catch a ride with me instead of ant and bryce
honestly i would love too, they are not morning people
(jaden laughs) okay well i'll pick you up in about an hour?

i hung up and rolled out of bed, i was walking past sophie's room and i peaked through the crack in the door and saw clayton hit her, and that was it for me, i flung the door open causing haley to come over to sophie's room, i picked sophie up and gave her to haley while she cries and i swung at clayton hitting him straight in the face 'SHOW YOUR FACE IN MY HOUSE OR NEAR MY FAMILY AGAIN AND ILL DO MORE DAMAGE THAN JUST A BUSTED NOSE' i shouted in his face as i pushed him out the door and watched him leave, my parents have already left for work but i didn't have to leave yet, neither did haley, haley helped sophie out and soph decided she still wanted to go to work today to take her mind off it, she got ready and i drove her there because i didn't want her going on her own, when i got back i quickly showered and got ready, i wasn't in the best mood and honestly just wanted the day to be over, i text morgan telling her i was on my way and set off to her house, i waited for her to come out and when she did and got in the car my eyes lit up, honestly this girl hasn't every said anything yet and she still manages to change my mood
'good morning hossler' she said in an upbeat tone, at least one of us had a good morning
'morning morgan, how are you today?' i replied trying to match her happiness but i was still worried deep down, i don't want sophie on her own with him anymore 'i'm good, what's wrong with you thought, somethings on your mind' she said as she placed her hand on my cheek making me look at her, i grabbed her hand with mine and sighed 'just, sophie and clayton drama' i wasn't gonna bored her with details but she's knows they've been arguing because she can hear it when we are on the phone 'oh, is she okay?' morgan asked 'ye she's okay, anyway let's get to school, we've got first period together' i said 'yes then i'm all alone all day' she said in a sad tone 'liar you have quinton and tayler in science before lunch' i said trying to make her feel better, it didn't work 'yay science and maths in one day, my favourite' she said sarcastically 'hey, you have english last' i reminded her, she loves english they fact you know my timetable off by heart is just sad hossler' she said laughing, once we got to school we walked over to the boys and dixie came over with griffin and morgan looked wayyy too happy
'soooo what's going on here then' morgan asked with a huge grin on her face as dixie and griffin both turned a shade of pink 'use protection' morgan continued which caused her to receive a playful punch in the arm from dixie, we talked for a bit and the bell went, i grabbed morgan's hand and she flinched at first then realised it was me and held my hand as we walked to maths, we walked in and we were on time for once
'it's nice to see you on time miss reeves, mr hossler seems to be a good influence on you' mr dike said to morgan with sass, morgan rolled her eyes and began walking out but i tightened the grip i had on her hand and pulled her towards me, i wrapped my arm around her shoulder and she held that hand with hers and i guided her towards our table
