~ chapter 13 ~

jadens pov

i'd just got home after being at morgan's, that was an interesting few hours, she's going through so much, i got home and went straight to bed
when i woke up the next morning morgan was in my room asleep on my sofa, i went over and woke her up
"why are you in here morgan?" i asked her quietly as she sat up and i sat next to her "my mum went off on one in the middle of the night and anthony refused to let me be in a house with her while she was raging and drunk so he dropped me off here, i messaged you but i assumed you were asleep but then someone who i assume was your dad came outside and went to get in his car, he asked me what i was doing out in the middle of the night, i said i wasn't sure and then he asked if i knew you and i said yes and he told me to go inside and go up to you room and get some sleep, so i did and i didn't want to wake you so i fell asleep on the sofa" she said, he voice was shakey and you could hear the pain, she has been thought so much in the past 24 hours, i just pulled her into a hug, after i let go i got my phone out and called anthony
"what were you thinking" i said down the phone sounding mad, morgan grabbed my arm and tried to calm me down
"what?" anthony replies cluelessly
"leaving your sister in the road in the middle of the night, she wouldn't have come in my house if i'm dad didn't come out to go to work and made her come inside" i said as morgan put her arms around my torso and snuggled up to me, it make me feel happy that she feels safe with me
"i'm sorry but my mum was on a right rage, she's smashed all the plates and bowls, the glasses and mugs, almost everything is broken and the house is a mess, i'm sorry i felt her on the side of the road but i'm glad i got her out of the house, mums at the hospital because she cut her arm on the glass, she fine she just needs some rest, can you just keep morgan with you today while i sort the house out please, i don't want here near this mess right now" anthony pleaded over the phone, i let out a sigh before agreeing "okay i'll keep her here" as i said that morgan looked up at me confused "thanks dude, i owe you, i'm gonna go" anthony said "alright by bro" i replied before ending the phone "soooo... you're staying here today" i said to morgan as i held her hands infront of me "okay" she said quietly "butttt i've got to go to the studio after school, i know you said you would come but you can stay here if you want" i said remembering that i had to go to the studio "i'll come, i said i would and it will take my mind off things" she said "one minute" i said as i walked out of the room and towards haley's room, based of there height and figure they have to be roughly the same size, i knocked on the door before entering
"hey haley, can i borrow something clothes" i said which earned me a strange look of haley "i have a feeling they won't fit you jaden" she replied "they're for morgan, we've got to go to school and she hasn't got anything apart from what she wearing which is shorts and an oversized top" i said and haley worked over to her closet and came out with this

which is defiantly something i could see morgan wearing, i said thanks and went back to my room to see morgan sitting on my bed on her phone scrolling through instagram, she looked up at me
"here, shower then you can get dressing into this for school" i said passing her the clothes and a towel "thank you for this" she said as she walked into my bathroom, i quickly changed and went downstairs to make some breakfast for me and morgan and my mum was in the kitchen on the phone to my dad
"so you just trusted a stranger into the house at 3 in the morning?" i heard her shout down the phone, i pulled her to look at me "hold on" she said down the phone "what's up jaden" she asked "mum, it's fine, it's morgan the girl i went on a date with, anthony's sister" my mum nodded her head and walked out still on the phone, i made up some avocado on toast and took it upstairs, when i got up morgan was flipping her hair around before reluctantly throwing it into a braid, she turned around and jumped at my presence "breakfast?" i said passing her the plate, once we finished breakfast we headed to school

(skip to lunch) i walked out to the cafeteria to see morgan stood alone, which was strange because normally she's with charli and dixie or the boys, i walked over to her "you alright?" i asked "anthony didn't come in today" she said sounding worried "morg, he's tidying your house, you mum made a mess off it" i told her and all emotion dropped from her face "where is everyone?" "idk where the boys are" she said "what about charli?" i asked figuring dixie will be with griffin "she dropped me" she said bluntly "they all did, apparently i spend too much time with the boys instead of them" she continued, i pulled her into a hug, after we let go i spotted the boys in the distance, i sent morgan over to them while i went over to taylers table
"tayler can i talk to you" i asked as i got to there table, dixie wasn't there and neither was avani meaning charli was the only girl there and she didn't look to happy about it "sure" tayler said getting up, i asked tayler cause i know he will listens, he's friends with the boys aswell as them lot and him and bryce are quite close, we walked away a bit
"what's happened with charli and morgan?" i asked straight up, tayler sighed "charlis upset because dixie and avani ditched them for griffin and ant and now she thinks morgan's ditching her for you so she pushed her away before she gets the chance" tayler rambled "okay, can you just tell charli to talk to morgan because morgan's broken as it is, and she needs charli as her bestfriend right now" i said not wanting to give too much away "wait what's happened, also why's ant not here" tayler questioned "you'll have to ask morgan" i said and tayler followed me over to to where morgan was "morgan can we talk" tayler said and she nodded and they walked away a bit, me and the boys chatted till we realised we needed to get to class so we left knowing morgan was in taylers class next anyway
