Getting a Puppy

*Sway House* 

"Yo did you guys see Addisons snap?" Noah asked the guys 

They all shook their heads no, "What is it?" 

"Go check." He said 

They all went and saw, "Fuck" Tayler mumbled 

Just then Bryce walked through the door, "Where were you at?" Jaden asked him 

"At Tylers then Addisons" He said not looking up 

Blake shoved him, "Bro. What the fuck is your deal? Do you realize the mind games you're playing with Tyler?" 

"I know I fucked up. I'm sorry." He said 

Tayler walked past him without saying a word, "Where are you going?" Bryce asked him 

"To make sure Tyler doesn't see this." Tayler said pissed 

"You aren't going to hit me or yell at me or make me feel like shit?" Bryce asked 

Tayler shook his head no, "No. If you really care about Tyler like you said you do, you'll make yourself feel shitty enough." 

*Tylers House* *Tylers POV*

I saw Addisons snapchat story. Was I expecting that to happen? No. Am I surprised by it though? No. It's Bryce. He's a guy and he's going to hookup with someone if they're there to hookup with. I really wasn't effected by it at all. I mean yeah I like Bryce but look what happened in Texas. So, I'm not bothered when it happened a second time. Someone was knocking at my door so I went over and opened it. 

"Hey Tayler and Noah and Blake... And Jaden..." I said 

Tayler hugged me, "You okay?" 

I looked at him weird, "Umm yeah. Why?" 

"Because what Addison posted and what Bryce did?" Jaden asked 

I laughed, "Y'all know I don't like him right?" 

They looked at me confused, "You don't?" Tayler asked 

I rolled my eyes, "No. I'm not dumb enough to fall for him after what he did in Texas. I'm not surprised or hurt. He's a guy it's expected lol" 

"Oh. Welllll wanna hangout and get outta this house?" Noah asked me and the guys 

"Yeah I'm down!" I said, "CAN WE GO GET ME A PUPPY!!!"

They all looked at me wide eyed, "You didn't need to yell haha" Noah laughed

"Hehe Sorry!" I smiled awkwardly 

"But yeah lets go get you a puppy!! Where do we wanna go?" Jaden asked 

"Hmm let me look up some no kill shelters" I said smiling 

Tayler sat next to me and put his arm around my waist, "Aww you're so sweet for wanting to rescue one" 

"We could go to like a petshop though or a breeder" Noah said 

I glared at him, "Nope. I'm only ever getting dogs from no kill shelters. I'm super picky about that" 

"Ok ok. Can I ask why?" Noah asked 

I nodded my head yes, "Because they're rescued from bad situations a lot of the times and shelters don't get the funds they always need in order to help take care of the animals. I also want to save a little pup and give them the best possible life. I know it's kinda selfish to get a puppy instead of an older dog, but once my pups grown out of the puppy stage I'll get an older one. Those aren't adopted nearly as much as they should be." 

"Damn. You're a sweetheart" Jaden said 

"Oh I found a place! Can we go?!" I asked 

We got up and Tayler drove us. I was sitting in back with Noah and Blake and we pulled into the shelters' parking lot. I was so excited!!! We walked in and there were a few older dogs and then 3 puppies. The puppies were all from the same litter and they were there because someone dropped them off at the front steps in a box. I held 2 of them, well tried to lol but they were super hyper. Then I held the third one and he was the absolute sweetest! He fell asleep in my arms and I knew right then and there he was the one I wanted to take home!

"Guys. He's the one. I wanna get him" I said really happy still holding him 

"We can go up front and fill out some paperwork" The lady helping us said 

I walked with her and kept holding my pup, "He's so calm. Is he always like this?" I asked 

"He's the runt of the litter, at least from those that he was in the box with, and he's super mellow" She said, "He's got a lot of us wrapped around his paws lol"

"I promise to bring him by to visit!" I said 

I filled out the paperwork and the guys all posted pictures of the little guy, "What're you going to name him?" Tayler asked 

"He looks like a Boone to me" I said 

"I love that!" Jaden said 

*Taylers POV*

We drove to Tylers' and she was completely fine. We ended up hanging out then going to a shelter and she bought the cutest puppy! He was so little and cuddly! I'm already obsessed with him and he isn't mine. They told us that they think he's a pit bull mix but he honestly looks like a lab. He's a cutie!

"Can I post this picture of him saying 'Welcome to the family'?" I asked Ty 

She was holding Boone, because she finished filling out the documents and we were about to head home, "Can I post one first? I'm sorry" 

"No don't apologize you're good!" I said to her 

"I got a cute picture of you holding him. Wanna use this?" Noah asked 

Ty saw it and loved it, "Can I please??" 

"Of course!" Noah sent her the picture 

"Okay after I post this, y'all can post him!" Tyler said 

She posted the picture on instagram and captioned it, "Not to brag, but I think my new roommate is really cute. Welcome to your forever home Boone!" 

The guys and I all posted him and we headed back to Tylers house and let him walk around the house and backyard. 

"Dude he's so stinkin cute! He hops! Like he doesn't run haha" Jaden laughed 

"I've never seen you guys so soft before hahaha" Tyler laughed

I nudged her, "Oh hush. It's because there's a cute puppy!" I looked at my phone and saw Bryce was calling, "Hold on a sec" 

*On the Phone* 

B: Bryce
T: Tayler
Ty: Tyler 

T: What's up?
B: Did Ty get a puppy?
T: Yeah! He's a cutie 
B: Are you guys at the house or her place?
T: Her place. Why what's up?
B: Can I come meet the little guy?
T: That's a question for her, not for me
B: She isn't answering my texts 
T: To be fair, she's been off her phone a majority of the day. Here she is
Ty: Hello?
B: Hey can I come meet the pup?
Ty: If you want yeah.
B: Do you mind?
Ty: Doesn't matter.
