yongbok was laying on his bed and enjoying the couple hours of relaxation before his birthday would be over and he could finally sleep.
as he scrolled through many 'happy birthday felix!' posts from STAY, his eyes began to feel droopy.
and as he turned off his phone he began to finally succumb to slumber, until...
"oppa!"
haeun shouted even though she was already by his bed side.
he groaned but opened his eyes as he looked at the female who was holding her phone and was dressed in a baggy t-shirt.
..which she probably stole from another member.
"why haven't i seen this before? like i-i mean we normally tell each other everything!" she exclaimed.
him still being half asleep couldn't seem to wrap his head around what she was talking about.
"haeun-ah, what's going on?" he mumbled trying to beat his sleepyness but also wanting to not fully wake up just because it took him so long to fall asleep in the first place.
"avoiding the situation are we?" she asked sarcastically.
"i genuinely have no idea what you're talking about." he responded.
she pouted before lifting her hand and shoving her bright phone screen in his face.
'so much for sleeping' he thought but was met with a post he made on instagram.
it was a video of him as a baby at a park in australia.
haeun tapped the phone to turn on the videos audio and baby felixs' voice was heard.
"i want kith..." baby him giggled.
and as the video ended but replayed, haeun put her phone down and pouted again.
"you are so adorable! h-how can someone be t-that cute?"
he lightly blushed and scooted back before tapping the small space next to him.
taking it as a sign to lay by him, she did.
"do you know how much this hurts me?" she whined and looked up at the ceiling.
she began to ramble about how cute his laugh, voice, smile, and entire existence was.
meanwhile, the male wrapped one hand around her and rested his head in the crook of her shoulder.
"now i want a baby felix... or any baby." she confessed.
she didn't think too much about what she said but the boy beside her did.
suddenly, she felt warm breath fan her ear.
"i can give you a baby." the male spoke as his voice made haeun turn multiple shades of red.
felix knew that haeun was attracted to his voice, especially when he would intentionally make it deeper.
he also knew that everyone loved teasing her. her reaction when they made her flustered was cute so naturally, felix saw the chance and took it.
although, haeun didn't want to take it the wrong way as it could've been an innocent comment...
so she flipped on one side, her back facing felix.
"aw, c'mon baby. you know i'm just teasing." the boy said tracing circles on her back.
she didn't say anything but instead heard yongbok sigh and an arm pulled her body so she was back to facing the ceiling.
"either way, i'm your baby as much as you are mine."
it was her turn to sigh before nodding and turning to face him directly.
felix wouldn't lie, haeun was always someone that he was especially thankful for on his birthday, and in general. she made him feel home and cared for.
of course all the boys did that but haeun had a way of making his heart beat faster then he's ever felt.
so maybe his teases were a bit more then just teasing but he knew he couldn't ruin what they had. he swore to himself he wouldn't, but why is it so difficult not too?
"hey, i just realized i never gave you a gift." she said.
felix was confused because she did. she gave him a very expensive jacket he always wanted from back home.
he was determined to buy one even though it was way beyond his reach.
yet, haeun found a way and immediately bought it for him.
"what do you mean? of course you did."
before he had a chance to say anything else haeun smiled at him before leaning in and giving him a soft kiss on the cheek.
"thank you for everything you do for me." she said.
yongbok brushed off the feeling in his heart and wrapped his arms around her.
the blush on his freckled cheeks cooled down as he spoke once more with a small smirk.
"so about that baby.."
"YAH! YONGBOK!" she yelled.
he let out an, "i'm joking, i'm joking." and laughed.
"goodnight oppa."
"goodnight haeun-ah..and thank you." he responded and cuddled up closer to her.
silence overtook the room as he closed his eyes and finally went to the long awaited sleep he had been looking forward too.
"happy birthday felix.." shewhispered playing with his hair.
