📍The Hospital

I wonder did I have a period while I was in a coma

"Where's the remote?" I mumbled to my self looking around until I found it underneath my blanket "All these wack ass channels"

"Her food look nasty" I mumbled as I past the food channel "They don't even have nickelodeon." I threw the remote down on the bed

"I'm finna go to Pooh's room" I looked back at forth at my wheelchair and Uncle Mark. I crossed my heart before I threw the blanket off me getting up slowly since my body was aching

I tipped toed to my wheelchair sitting in to slowly watching my Uncle the entire time. I began to roll towards the door using my feet. I glanced back at him as I opened the door fast so it wouldn't creek as much.

I decided to turn myself around so I could hold the door with my foot while I left out, Once my back was facing the door I looking back as I rolled out the door easing my foot off the door slowly.

I'm surprised he didn't wake up

I got hellos and good mornings from people as I made my way to the elevator.

A elevator should not take this long.

I sat there for a minute before the doors finally opened, once I got inside the elevator I pressed the floor number. As the doors of the elevator opened I used my good arm to roll me out going to Pierre's room.

I sat outside the door deciding on if I should just wait till later. I turned handle before I let my foot push the door open for me, I looked around at the chairs as I entered his room.

Nobody was in here, I went over to the right side of his bed admiring his face "You so purdy" I giggled rubbing his disconnected ass beard. I grabbed his hand lacing my fingers in his

He still looked the same from yesterday but something about him looked different I don't know what though. "Where's your remote?" I looked around until I found it on the table

"Why yo channels better than mine?" I looked up at the tv as I flipped thru the channels

3 hours later

"I asked the doctor when you gone be able to get released"

"What she say?" I looked over at my Uncle wait for his answer "She in the next few days"

"So i'll be able to celebrate my birthday?"

"Maybe, but you ain't gone be celebrating too hard ya arm fucked up already" He laughed looking at it "Whatever" I rolled my eyes directing my attention back to Malani

"I heard you been trying to walk and talk, you a big girl now huh?" I stood her up on the bed still holding her "Can you ask her if I be released today, i'm tired of being here"

"You ask her, she about to come in here right now." Seconds later after he said that the nurse came in. "Here's your meds for today, I also brought you some juice and a few snacks since I known how bad the cafeteria food can be." She sat all the things she brought back with her down on the table

"Thank you" I smiled at her slightly "No problem, i'm gonna have you take your meds right now for me" Shw opened the pill bottle shaking out three Tylenol's.

She handed me my juice she brought me along with the pills "Is there a chance I can be released today?" I opened my juice looking at her

"I can't guarantee you that I can but i'll ask for you." I nodded my head throwing back the pills back washing them down with my juice. She said a few things before she walked out

"You must really not fucking like it here, you just woke up yesterday and you already tryna leave" He chuckled

"We got business to handle."

"Kali I got this shit handled, you just need to rest and make sure yo arm healing correct"

"Well you can keep doin whatever you doin but when you get him, tell me please"

"I got you." I nodded my head slowly moving my hands from Malani to see if she'll stand although this bed wasn't a flat surface.
