Family Secrets: The Man Jaclyn Webber Wanted to Keep a Secret

Bill Hutchison, 58, is the president and CEO of the biggest power company in Illinois, EXCO Power, but more shockingly he's Jaclyn Webber's, 18, grandfather.

According to sources closest to Webber the two haven't seen each other in eight years. Why? You might ask, well we sat down with Hutchison to find out.

"It's true I haven't seen my granddaughter or my daughter since 1993. Things in our family are a bit complicated."

Hutchinson and his wife and daughter lead almost aristocratic lives as his company grew and spread into neighboring states turning into the million dollar company it is today.

When his daughter, Michelle Webber, now 37, was sixteen she fell for the scrappy young tree climber who she met by chance when he was trimming her trees. This young teen, would become her husband, Brad Webber, and they would go on to have Jaclyn Webber.

"I was appalled if I'm being completely honest by Michelle's lack of dignity. Her mother and I had always loved her, and given her everything, and to repay us she threw her future away."

Hutchinson, even though it broke his heart, gave his daughter an ultimatum when she shared news of her engagement.

Call it off, or be cut off.

As we can see she decided to runaway to small town Villa Grove, where Webber's family had established a small business of trimming trees and fixing landscapes, but it was a far cry from her previous life.

"It was surprisingly easy for me, I think it was because I knew she was happy. However, when Jaclyn was born my wife, Glenda started to waiver, for the first several years of Jaclyn's life Glenda was going behind my back to see the child. Now that I look back on it, it's what eventually lead to me filing for divorce that and the fact that she was mad."

It wasn't until Webber's seventh birthday that Hutchinson finally caught on to what was going on. After meeting up once again with his daughter they allowed for the two to meet for the first time.

"I was rather unimpressed with her, honestly. It was why I never wanted Michelle to settle for that man anyway, I knew any child would be brought up to be a mediocre middle class citizen. I've also never seen her dance so I can't speak for her ability, but in my eyes she's never showcased any real talent. She's rather unremarkable, but I'll always love her."

However, Hutchison did go on to say that after his divorce to his wife in 1993, he had no desire to see any of them. "It's hard when your granddaughter, a little girl you want to love so dearly, has the same eyes of the man who tore your family apart. Sadly, I think I will always look at her and be haunted by everything that's gone on."

When asked if he was shocked by her latest outings with Prince William Hutchinson responded, "While everyone I work with was shocked of the prince's continuous outings with my granddaughter I wasn't. She's an enigma that doesn't know how to act, talk, or dress; and I think for right now he's intrigued by her because she's not like the classy young ladies I'm sure he's used to. On the other hand, I think Jaclyn is being quite foolish conducting herself the way she is. She can't complain about people's ridicule either because she looks horrendous in every photo, she is a charming girl, but I wish she would grow up already and stop making a mockery of herself, I almost don't want to claim her."

"However, I can't expect much else from the daughter of a tree trimmer."
