IT'S COMPLICATED (An Izuocha Story)

RUSHED

"Finally! The rain stopped" Kaminari sighed in relief "One day of rain was relaxing but two days is a lot even for me"

"Good morning love birds ribbit" Tsu teased walking with Uraraka towards the common area

"Don't be such a cry baby about it Denki" she teased her boyfriend grabbing on to his wrist

"Why do you keep on teasing me I thought we had something special" Denki looked down in frustration.

Everyone else cringed by Kaminari's comment other than Jirou who blushed for some reason.

Kirishima approached Kaminari from the back and patted him on the shoulder "Dude dial down a bit, you're creeping me out" he chuckled.

"You know Kyouka, I sometimes wonder how you two ended up together" Uraraka muttered at her friend

"What do you mean?"

"Well..." the brunette didn't know what to say

"I think what Ochako's saying is that Kaminari's a little bit out of it sometimes ribbit"

"Actually" Jirou began to turn crimson

"I find it charming" She defended "Maybe there's a problem with me" making herself laugh among her friends

Sato walked to the living area holding his phone "Hey guys do you have any kind of signal here?" he asked

"I know right! It's been like that since yesterday" Ochako held up her phone to show Sato

"WHAT THE HELL IS WITH THIS SIGNAL!!!" Bakugo entered the room pissed off again

"Good morning everyone, I see the rain finally stopped" Iida greeted "Where are the others?"

"Probably still sleeping" Jirou responded

"Btw Iida do you know about the signal problem? It's been like that since yesterday" she asked

"I do... actually I'm planning to find out the cause of the problem."

"Possibly talking to the mayor about it"

A car suddenly parked in the front of the class 2A rest house "Who could that be?" Kaminari looked at the car looking very curious, seeing a person got off approaching the entrance.

"Ohh. It's the mayor class rep"

"Really?! Well that was oddly convenient" Iida remarked, he proceeded to walk by the door to meet the town mayor half way

"Good morning heroes!"

"Good morning Mr. Mayor sir I was about to ask to meet you but it seem circumstances are on my side"

"He's so formal" Everyone thought, they can't help but chuckle especially since their class rep is still in his pajamas

"Indeed young man, I came here to personally check on all of you"

"Did you encounter any problems during your stay?"

"No not at all sir"

"That's a good sign" The mayor sighed in relief "The storm was picking up yesterday so I was worried about you kids since you're staying by the beach"

"I see... thank you for your concern sir" Iida bowed out gratitude "By the way sir how is the town"

"Everything is fine actually, there were no floods or damaged property thank God, although our only signal tower was struck by lightning"

"Is that why we're not getting any signals sir"

"Unfortunately, yes this sort of thing happens once in a while... however we're sorting it out now it might take a few days to fully bring it back so for now there are no means of communication. I apologize"

"No problem sir, can we do something to help?" Iida insisted

"Nonsense" the mayor smiled "You are our guests, let us handle the situation."

"We insist sir!"

"You heroes are always doing your job... I admire that" the mayor laughed "But you've done so much for this town, let us do ours and we'll handle it" he smiled

After a while the mayor left. "He's a pretty awesome mayor if I do say so myself" Kaminari remarked

"Indeed, his devotion to the his town and guests is very admirable"

The two guys were about to return to the house when a moment later another car parked in front

"Did the mayor left something?" Ochako asked as she went outside and stood beside Iida

A familiar head looking head peeked out of the car as that person got off... When the car drove away it cleared the view for them. It was a guy carrying a backpack he looked extremely familiar.

"Is that..." Kaminari stared in disbelief

"Hey Denki" Jirou walked towards her boyfriend to see the commotion "What are you guys looking... at..."

"WHY ARE YOU PEOPLE STANDING THERE!" Bakugo walked towards the entrance only to be rendered speechless as well

"Hey guys! It's been a while" the person smiled

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

Ochako was rendered speechless, she didn't know what to feel...

"Are you guys alright?" the person looked concerned

Ochako rushed towards the person and hugged him "What took you so long... Deku..."

That's it for this chapter 23, btw if by chance I won't be able to publish anything for the next few days. It's because I'm busy with my midterm exams
