"Where are they going next? They are too far for me to see; Talon is your view good?" Tessa asked, peaking from behind the cabin. Talon was sitting on top of the cabin she was hiding behind. He dangles his legs off the roof looking at the couple, Diego kept Jade close to his side as they move past the crowd. Jade has her head resting on his chest.
"Looks like they are heading towards the back entrance." The hawk beastman answered. "How is your view Mr. Intruder?"
"Why are they calling me that?" Jake muttered to himself in place at the stand. Jake pretends to expect the pottery while watch Jade throwing up in a bush. Diego rubbed her back while chatting with a couple of concern beastmen. "It is all good, looks like the man is just helping her gain her baring after she threw up. Maybe he is trying to woo her right now, you know. Like normal beastmen would."
"Throwing up?" Tessa asked, her curiosity turn into concern as she began to think about all the ways she might got sick. "Food poison? Drugs? He is up to something I can feel it in my gut."
"Then we shall proceed with the plan." Talon confirmed before jumping on to the ground and shape shifted into his hawk form. The citizens quickly move out of the way as his beast form grew larger. He was huge with brown feathers with white sprinkle on it. He lowers himself to make it easier for his two mates to get on before looking at Jake expectingly.
"Oh no, no." Jake shakes his head taking a couple of steps back from them. "There is no way I am going to put my life in somebody else hands."
"Stop being so difficult," The 5'5-foot beastman snorted as he played with his quill. His short brown and white hair were unkept like he just got out of bed, and a handmade bow and basket filled with quills strap on his back. "He is not going to drop you with us on his back. Come on before we lose their trail."
"You think I believe that!?" Jake protested pointing angrily at them. "Listen I might be 'willing' to join you on this whole stalking thing."
"Not stalking"
"Stalking," Jack stress out narrowing his eyes at Tessa. "But my life is where I draw the line. Especially trusting that short guy behind me."
"For the last time my name is Spike!!"
"And I told you that it is a stupid name!!" Jake snapped back. Tired of Jake's complaining, Talon rolled his eyes and start to make his way over to Jake causing to take a couple steps back. Jake opens his mouth to protest again when Talon swiftly launches forward and use his head to flip Jake on to his back.
Tessa was pull backwards by Spike before Jake's body got the chance to hit her. Jake groan as he sat up. "Did you just?"
Talon took off to the sky before Jake was given the chance to collect his barring causing him to scream for dear life. Jake buried his head into his feathers as he clung on to him for dear life when he felt his stomach twist and turn at the sudden lightness.
"GOD, I LOVE THIS FEELING!!" Tessa scream in delight against the wind as Spike laugh with her.
'They are fucking crazy!!' Jake thought, panicking. His mind wonders to his money hunger father and the large number of customers that was there at the moment. 'I should have just stay in the shop with that cheap old man.'
