It was a new year at Hogwarts. Children were boarding the train and parents were saying goodbye. Lily was clinging onto Harry's arm, as it was her first year attending Hogwarts.
"I'm going to miss you kids so much," Poppy said.
"Mum, we're not kids anymore," said James. "This is my fourth year at Hogwarts. You're still as emotional as ever."
She pouted and smacked his head. "Horrible child I've raised, you."
Albus laughed at James before spying Scorpius and his sister Sabrina. Albus ran over to Scorpius.
And where one Potter went, the whole lot always followed. Poppy and Harry followed after Albus, as did James and Lily. Harry stood behind James, his hands on his shoulders. Poppy had her arms locked with one of Harry's arms, resting her head against his shoulder as she smiled warmly at the Malfoys.
"Hello, Astoria," Poppy greeted. "Hello, Draco."
Astoria smiled. "Hello, Poppy."
Draco nodded his head in greeting. "Poppy." Then, he turned to Harry. "Potter."
"Malfoy."
Poppy stared at the two men before rolling her eyes. "Come on, children. The train will be leaving soon. I'm sure you'll want one of the nice compartments. Oh - I suppose you'll be stuck in patrolling the train for a majority of the time," she said to Sabrina.
Sabrina sighed. "Becoming a Prefect is essentially becoming the mother of three hundred children."
Poppy smiled. "Some children are worth it, Sabrina, dear. Now, go along - all of you. Come on."
Scorpius and Sabrina quickly turned around to kiss their parents' cheeks before walking to the train. Albus and Scorpius were talking to each other, while Sabrina and James walked a few feet apart from each other with Lily clinging onto his arm.
Poppy suddenly shrieked in glee as she spied Teddy and Nora, his wife, with their child, Ezra Tonks Lupin who was only 4-years-old. She absolutely adored Ezra because of his ability to change eye colors. They came to meet up with Poppy and Harry, then head off so that Poppy could play with Ezra.
Poppy ran over to them. Harry trailed after his wife, rolling his eyes. Poppy pinched Ezra's cheeks before he smacked them away and buried his face into his mother's legs.
"Hey, Poppy," Teddy and Nora greeted simultaneously.
"Hello, darlings," she greeted. "So how have you been? Would you like to have dinner at our place tonight?"
"Only if there's wine," said Nora.
Poppy smiled. "I've always liked you."
