Chapter 79 ( Sad Xander, Curious Rome)

There will be two new characters who are black people. They will use the word ni**a with one another(Read online and in many other books that it is used playfully used among black people) I wrote this chapter with the help of one of my friend, who is a black person. If there's anything that anyone finds offensive please tell me. I'm learning as I write. Educate me if I'm making mistakes or portraying the characters wrongly. With that being said, I never have and never will use the racial slur, 'N' against anyone. This is just a book and that's how the characters are portrayed.

Ace Ryder Blade's POV

"Why?" The one question Xander asked, made my heart beat faster.

Should I lie or I should I tell them the truth and have them feel guilty?

No. Ace. Enough of lying to your siblings.

I sighed.

All my brothers were staring at me.

Except Roman who was sprawled out on the sofa, mumbling the lyrics to the song 'Me and my broken heart' and playing with his fingers.

Reminder to have a heart to heart chat with Roman, he seems sad Ace,I reminded myself.

I looked at Aiden, who gave me a small smile of encouragement.

I took in a deep breath.

Blaze was staring intently at me, I was always calm and collected and he knew that.

He knew that this was something big.

"Spit it out" Blaze growled out.

"Grandpa made a deal with Enzo" I said.

"That good for nothing piece of shit" Blaze said, cursing out our grandfather.

"Which Enzo?" Elijah asked.

"What deal?" Xander asked.

Xavier was just looking at me sadly.

Smart boy, probably figured out what happened already.

He was always quick at figuring things out.

"Enzo Bernard,the leader of the old French gang. Listen, I don't want you guys to feel bad about what I'm going to say. It was my decision to do this. Because I love you guys" I said.

"Ace. You're going to make me have a heart attack. Please just fucking tell us" Elijah said.

Roman stopped singing and laughed at Elijah's cursing. Elijah rarely cursed.

After laughing, Roman want back to mumbling his song.

"One of you guys, were promised to marry one of Enzo's children,for guns. You weren't even born at that time of the deal. Enzo told me,that he wanted his son who's 21, to marry Ana. But he didn't care as long as one of yall, married one of his children" I said.

Oh and Issac kissed me, trying to trick Enzo that I'm gay, I wanted to say but I didn't.

My brothers stayed quiet, processing the information.

"Dad didn't know about this deal. He wouldn't have let this happen, if he knew. This is Enzo's niece, Aiden. She didn't have a good life with her uncle. And since the deal didn't specify which Bernard should marry which Blade, I, Ace Blade married Aiden Bernard. Well Aiden Blade,now" I said, pointing at Aiden.

"Don't be angry at me too. Everything I do, is for you guys. I'm sorry for leaving so suddenly, with three of you guys, in the hospital. If I didn't reach there on time, he would have started a war. With a lot of our men dead and a lot injured, I didn't want to push things. I'm sorry" I apologised, looking specifically at Xander.
