━━Fiona knew New Rome back to front. It was her home; the one she grew up in, and the one she planned to stay in for her safety. But the actual Rome? Gods no, she has absolutely no idea where they are going. It frustrated her how long it was taking Hazel to find a path, even though she shouldn't be. She would be just as frustrated as Fiona was. They were so close to finding Nico, but they were also so close to being too late.

"Sorry," Hazel kept on saying. "It's just ... there's so much underground here, so many layers that it's overwhelming. Like standing in the middle of an orchestra and trying to concentrate on a single instrument. I'm going deaf."

As a result, they all got a pretty good tour of Rome. Fiona wanted to stop and admire it all; admire her roots. She was in Rome; a place she's always wanted to go to, to feel the ancient aura of her ancestors. But right now, none of that mattered to her. All that mattered was finding Nico, and saving this city from destruction. Fiona didn't realise how much this quest has changed her, probably for the better. She went from thinking little about anyone else other than her own ambitions, to possibly caring far too much.

"I never thought I'd get to see Rome," Hazel said as they passed cafes and old fountains meshed together. "When I was alive, I mean the first time, Mussolini was in charge. We were at war."

"Mussolini?" Leo frowned. "Wasn't he like BFF's with Hitler?"

    Hazel stared at him, "BFFs?"

    "Never mind."

Fiona crossed her arms and turned to Leo. "Mussolini and Hitler shared similar interests."

    "World domination?"

    "Uh ... I guess."

"I'd love to see the Trevi Fountain," then said Hazel.

"There's a fountain on every block," grumbled Leo.

"Or the Spansih Steps," added Fiona.

"Why would you come to Italy to see Spanish steps?" Leo asked, staring at Fiona like she had grown a second head. "That's like going to China for Mexican food, isn't it?"

Fiona opened her mouth to retort, but he had a point. In the end, she decided to reply with a short, "You're hopeless."

     "So I've been told."

Hazel turned to Frank and grabbed his hand, leaving Fiona and Leo behind. "Come on. I think we should go this way."

Frank gave Fiona and Leo a confused smile━as if he wasn't sure whether to gloat or thank the two of them for their quick arguent━but he cheerfeully let Hazel drag him along. Fiona shared a glance with Leo, and sighed. They trudged along.

After a while, they stopped in front of the Pantheon. Fiona recognised it because of the replica back home: the main section with its big domed roof and entrance amongst Roman columns and the inscription across the top that translated to: Marcus Agrippa, the son of Lucius, three times consul, built this

"Latin for Get a grip?" Leo speculated.

Fiona rolled her eyes. "No," she told him and was about to explain but Hazel cut her off.
