Chapter 11: Shun
Amusement Park. I thought he would bring me to an ice cream stall, but I was surprised when he parked the motorcycle at our city's amusement park. Agad akong napangiti nang makita ang mga nagga-gandahang booths at rides.
Hindi ko rin mapigilan ang sarili ko na ilibot ang tingin sa paligid. Everything looks so beautiful. Different colors are displayed in front of my eyes right now, I can even hear the shouts and screams of people riding the extreme rides. Naaamoy ko rin ang iilang street foods na niluluto sa mga booths. Kasabay nang paglalim ng gabi ay ang pagdami ng mga tao na pumupunta rito. Kung sa bayan pa, peryahan na ang tawag. Pero dahil nandito kami sa siyudad, edi Amusement Park para mas magandang pakinggan.
I happily growled in excitement.
"You seem excited. Tara na?" rinig kong sabi ni Eros. He looked at me and grinned. Tumango naman ako at naunang pumasok sa loob. This is it!
My mom rarely takes me to places like this. Siguro ay pangalawang beses ko pa lang makapunta sa ganitong klaseng lugar dahil halos hindi ako makalabas ng bahay dati. Aside from having three, asshole and over, overprotective brothers, it felt like I don't need to socialize with others anymore because I already have them. Kaya nawala na sa isip ko ang pagpunta sa mga lugar kagaya nito. I didn't expect I would miss a whole new experience because of being an anti-social and taong-bahay. I guess it's not that bad to try new things. Palihim kong tiningnan si Eros habang abala siyang tumitingin sa paligid. He looked really handsome in his fit. I should probably thank him later. Yeah.
"Doon, may binibentang ice-cream." May tinuro siya 'di kalayuan sa kinatatayuan namin. Nauna naman akong tumakbo palapit doon.
I saw the different flavors of ice cream displayed on the menu board. Agad na nahagip ng mga mata ko ang strawberry flavor kaya hindi na ako nagdalawang isip pa at nag-order. When it comes to strawberries, no one can stop me. The stall guy immediately took my order. Naramdaman ko naman sa likuran ko ang pagdating ni Eros.
"Seriously, you should stop running too fast," he complained.
I smirked at him and stuck my tongue out. Kasalanan ko bang hindi siya agad sumunod sa akin?
"Aren't you gonna order one?" pagtatanong ko.
"Nope. I'll have one too. Chocolate flavor for me please." Tumango naman 'yung lalaki sa harapan namin.
Muli akong napatingin sa paligid habang iniintay ang in-order kong ice cream. It really feels different to be here. I saw people smiling from ear to ear and seem to enjoy everything inside the park. Sana pala kung ganito ang madadatnan ko ay nagpunta na ako rito dati pa. "First time here?" Napalingon ako sa kanya when he asked me.
"Not really, but I rarely visit this kind of place. Salamat nga pala sa pagdala sa akin dito." I genuinely smiled at him.
Bahagya niya namang tinakpan ang bibig at umiwas ng tingin. What's with him? Weird.
"So, I guess I'm responsible for a tour then?" he suddenly asked.
Nanlalaki ang mga mata kong napatingin sa kanya. "Yes!!!"
"Okay, chill. After we got our orders," he said, showing his smile that had sent me to another dimension a lot of times already. Napangiti na lang ako at 'di mapigilang kabahan sa susunod na mga mangyayari. But kinakabahan-dahil-excited kind of way. I'll enjoy my time here!
A few minutes later, the stall man handed us our orders at agad naman kaming nagbayad para masimulan na ang paglilibot sa parke.
"Where do you wanna go first??" he asked. Nasa pinakagitna kami ng amusement park habang abala ako sa pagtingin sa paligid.
