Ian sighed looking at the man in front of him.
It was Saturday and He was having an appointment with Douglas Stuart as usual
He had spent some time from morning and now even Stuart was tired

" Okay.. I guess we could call it a day.." Ian said with a small smile

Stuart smiled back.. " about the review.."

Ian sighed, he had been going over the progress with his daughter..
Today was not any less different, she was always late..

Unnecessarily rude..
Bored throughout..
It was obvious that she didn't want to be in the same room as him .. but she was the only relative to review to..

" I'm sure she'd be here any minute now" Ian said forcing a smile

Stuart gave a sad smile.. " it's my fault I've spoilt her.if you don't want to talk to her I understand.."

" No.. please Stuart, she can be a bit outgoing.. but that's it" Ian said

Stuart chuckled.. "I guess you are correct.."

Ian looked around awkwardly.. he was not really sure about discussing his ex with her dad. But then again.. Stuart had always loved him..

" Word has it around that you are tying locks " Stuart smiled

Upon the thought of Isabelle he smiled fondly

" She's beautiful.." he said

Stuart chuckled.." then I'm hurt I wasn't invited.. it's not like I'm the ex"

Ian smiled nervously.. " I didn't know if you'd like it.."

" Of course I like it.. just because you don't end with my girl doesn't mean you shouldn't end with someone at all.. "

Ian gave a genuine smile..

" Infact.. she's having her fair amount of men in her life" Stuart sighed

Ian rose his brow.." men..?"

" A new guy every week.. well..she said it's not like she's gonna marry 'em.. "

Ian rolled his eyes.. bitting back the comment he was about to leave

Stuart chuckled lightly..
" she doesn't want to get married you see..  "

Ian saw past his sad chuckle.. he saw a sad father worrying about his only child.
What was he supposed to say.. was he supposed to act as a doctor....
or as a friend

" I feel like it's because.. she wont have someone to walk her down the aisle.." Stuart said chuckling again but his chuckle broke on the way

Ian's heart pained for him..
" Oh Stuart.. you'll walk her down the aisle.."

Stuart looked at his wheelchair.. running his index finger on the cool material..

" I know so.." Ian nodded putting a reassuring hand on Stuart's

" So how's business..?"

Stuart broke into a proud smile..
" Better than when I was in charge.."

Ian frowned..
" wait, so you are not managing it, who is? "

" Shira.. she's a natural.." Stuart laughed
