(Elizabeth's pov)
It's early morning and there looks to be a storm coming in So as I put away my sketch book and pencil as I look at my brother "Hey I'm gonna go into town and buy me some more supplies before we have to take off we can meet up outside the town later on tonight if that's OK" I ask
He looks at me and smiles "That sounds fine we're just gonna run around a little bit to lead them away more then We'll meet you after we should start heading in to Canada alright so don't be late if you can't find us just try to teleport to me" I smile and nod at him before I take off to do some shopping
(Laurent's pov)
After Lizzie takes off I go to Victoria and James A little ways Into the Woods When they see me James smiles "where did Liz run off to" he asks with his arm wrapped around Victoria
" She went to town to find some more supplies for our trip up to Canada She's gonna meet up with us later after we finish this and she has all her stuff she needs" I tell them they just nod and we take off
We spent a couple hours running east and then the thunderstorm showed as we were running we heard what sounded like thunder but we knew what it was there was no way it was just thunder I see James smile out of the corner of my eye as a ball comes flying by
James runs and grabs it before running back to me and Victoria holding up a baseball "What do you say we go and introduce ourselves maybe see if they want to play a game or two before we have to meet up with Liz" he asks
I shrug "Why not if they're playing baseball they can't be too bad can they" I say as I grave the ball from him He just smiles and takes off to where the ball came from
As we came up to the field I see 8 people all standing there looking at us as we walked across to them I take the lead with Victoria and James flanking me
(Esme's pov)
Right as Alice's yells stop I can hear the nomads coming closer to the field everyone rushed to mine and bellas side Carlisle comes over to me as we all start to form a line in front of bella
" I'm sorry I didn't see them coming they where leaving then they heard us " Alice says as she looks at Edward he goes to take Bella away " let go " he tell Bella as I look to Carlisle "it's to late " Carlisle says to him as he goes to leave with her so he stops
"Bella let your hair down" I hear him tell her hopefully we can pass her off as one of us I think "like that will help I can smell her from across the field " Rose tells him and I give her one of my not right now looks
I listen as Edward tells Bella he shouldn't have brought her here and to stay behind him I stand beside my husband as we watch three nomads walk over to us one a dark skin man with dreads one a wild red haired woman and a blonde man with a pony tail once they stop we look at each other for a moment before the man with the dreads speaks
"I believe this belongs to you " he says as he throws the ball and Carlisle catches it " thank you " he tells them the man looks at Carlisle " I am Laurent and this is Victoria and James" he says the woman nods while the other man looks at my family
"I'm Carlisle and this is my family " my husband introduces all of us the man simply says hello " I'm afraid your hunting activities has caused something of a mess for us" Carlisle tells them
" our apologies we did not realize the territory has been claimed" he says politely with a small smile "yes well we maintain a permanent residence nearby" says Carlisle
" Really well we won't be a problem anymore we were just passing through" Laurent says " The humans were tracking us but we let them East you should be safe" the woman tells Carlisle and he nods and says excellent
The man Laurent laughs "So could you use 3 more players" he asks we all look at Carlisle unsure not really wanting them to stay around " Come on just one game" Laurent asks again
Carlisle sighs " Sure why not a few of us were just leaving you can take their place We'll bat first" Carlisle says as he throws them the ball the woman Victoria catches it and smiles "I'm the one with the wicked curve ball" Jasper and Emmett laugh " Oh well I think we can handle that" he tells her tring to break the tension
My family and them laugh as Laurent claps his hands we all go to get in out places when I hear the woman say "we shall see" As we are walking away the wind picks up and I hear one of them sniff the air most likely picking up bellas scent
" You brought a snack" the man James says as we all rush forward I try to put Bella behind me as my family forms a line in front of us everyone is growling at eachother "a human " Laurent asks while he joins James and Victoria
" The girl is with us I think it's best if you leave" Carlisle growls the man Laurent slowly stands backing up holding up his hands trying to stop a fight " I can see the game is over we will go now "
He slowly starts to back up as his friends stay a bit longer staring at my family he just calls James's name before they break their looks and stands to leave taking off towards the woods
"Get Bella out of here go" Carlisle says to Edward as they leave I look at my husband " I thought you said there were 4 of them" I ask
" There is one other woman the man Laurent he thought about who he called his sister when they they picked up bella's scent she's not with them right at the moment she apparently went in to town for something probablyto feed" Edward say before he rushes Bella to the jeep and we all gather everything and rush home
