CH 7

(Tanya's pov)

I am sitting in my living room reading a book with my family surrounding me when I hear a ding of a phone I looked to Kate to see it was her phone that went off she reads her message then looks up at all of us

" Carlisle says we have 2 visitors who might show up soon said their two nomads who were interested in the vegetarian diet so he sent them our way" she tells us

I close my book and look at her "when do you think they will show up" I ask  "Well considering he just sent them I say give him A-day or 2"she says as we hear a knock at the door

We all freeze as we smell the vampires un sure of how they snuck up on us we didn't even hear them coming there's no way these can be the same ones Carlisle sent they couldn't have reached us that fast

I look at everyone and we start to get ready for a fight just in case as I head to answer the door  When I opened it two nomads are standing on the other side  1 a woman with her hood up and the other a dark skinned man with dreadlocks

" Hello my name is Laurent and this is my sister Lizzie we were informed by a coven in Washington that you also partake in a vegetarian lifestyle and we wish to learn more about it" the man says

I looked at him confused for a moment  "Carlisle said he just sent you how did you get here so fast" I ask as Eleazar comes up beside me and looks at them

" Because the woman can teleport" he tells me The woman looks shocked that he knows about her powers  "Yes well they gave us this piece of paper with your address and my sister transported us here" Laurent says as he hands me the paper

I look it over and at the bottom corner of the page is the cullen crest And the handwriting seems to be Carlisle's So after a few moments of thinking it over I step aside "please come in and we can discuss more of our life style with you"  I say

They enter and we follow them into the living room where the rest of the family is let me introduce everyone for you I say "this is my sister Irina my sister Kate and Carmen and her mate Eleazar my name is Tanya I am the leader of this coven"

" Nice to meet you I am Laurent and this is my sister Elizabeth or Lizzie you can call her either just don't call her Liz" he says  " Why that is a cute nickname" Kate asks them

"I'm sorry personal reasons I prefer not to be called Liz I find it as an insult if someone calls me that so please don't" Elizabeth tells her and Kate just nods her head you can hear how serious the woman is about that nickname maybe if they decide to stay we will be able to find out why

"Well Izzy why don't you remove your hood and we can all take a seat and we can discuss the vegetarian lifestyle and how we came about it" I say

She nods and slowly moves her hood down when she takes it off she has chestnut hair and a soft heart shaped face that seemed somehow familiar and she looks rather stunning I have to say she seems like my type of girl I could see myself falling for her if she stuck around so I offer her a smile as we all take a seat

Me and my family told them a little bit about our history and how we became vegetarians Me and my sisters explained how we were what they call succubus after we finished telling them the story we then told them a little bit about ourselves

Eleazar told them a bit about the voltori and his gift along with when he met Carmen and later us And then we told them about Kate and her gift Elizabeth seemed interested in that

" Can I see what it does like can you shock me" she asked as well all look at her stunned not many people wanna be shocked after they figure out what should they can do  Kate looked to me as if asking for approval I simply nodded if the girl wanted to see I don't see why not

Kate held out her hand "well just touch my hand if you want" Elizabeth looked at her brother and then didn't even hesitate she touched Kate's palm and all of a sudden she is on the floor with Kate's electrical currents going through her

After Kate pulls her hand away Elizabeth looks up at us "that is so cool" she says Kate just laughed at her "alright Elizabeth let's see what you can do Eleazar says you can tell the port what or who can you teleport"

Elizabeth seems to be thinking about it for a moment before in  a blink of the eye she is across the room at a book shelf where she grabs the book and is backed by her brother's side before we can even think about it she hands the book to Kate "try to keep this away from me bet you cant" she stated

Kate not being able to turn down the challenge takes off with the book Before we know it the book is in the Lizabeth's hands and Kate is running back into the room with a confused look on her face

"Have you always been able to do that" I ask her " Since Laurent turned me yes but as a human my grandmother used to tell me that I could magically appear behind her I don't recall ever being able to only that I could sneak up on her before she even noticed she always said I had a habit for appearing up out of nowhere and always swore she would tie a bell to me" she laughed

We sat there and talked for a few hours before we decided to take them out hunting when it got to be daylight to give them a chance to taste the animal blood

"This is disgusting how in the world can you stomach this" Elizabeth asked and Laurent nods in agreement  I just laugh "it becomes easier after a while I am sure you will become dull to the taste" I say my family hums in agreement

After about a month of them staying with us And learning things about each other we decide to sit them down and ask if they want to join us in our coven

Elizabeth looks at Laurent "brother can we please stay this seems like a good place" she asks He seems to be thinking it over for a bit before he nods and gives in to her

"It might be a bit difficult for me to accept the diet but I don't see why we can't give it a shot" he states I can see Irina look excited her and Laurent seemed to have gotten quite close I don't think it will be long before they end up together

Elizabeth smiles and looks at me "all right we will take you up on your offer just please be aware it might be hard for us to switch especially my brother after he has drank human blood for so long" she tells me

I nood  "Don't worry we will work with you two and get you use to the animal diet we know it is not easy to switch we had to do it ourselves" I say and she smiles that cute smile at me
