Ch 18

(Esme pov)

I was finishing helping pack up Carlisle office when I sat at his desk and sighed I couldn't help but think about how Elizabeth looked after the little accident at bellas party she looked so guilty as if she actually had bit Bella then when she all of a sudden took off like she was scared of how I would react to the whole thing

I let out a deep sigh trying to think of how I can reassure her it was a accident I hear Carlisle stop what he is doing and walked up to me placing his hand on my shoulder I looked up at him and he gave me a loving smile

"What do I say to her to not make the situation worse she was so upset already and the fact that we are leaving Carlisle I don't know what to do" I ask him

He just smiles and places a kiss on my head "Don't worrie you are her mother you will know what to say to her when you see her" he smiles placing a kiss on my head as he wraps me in his arms

After a few moments of him holding me we got back to packing when we had finish his office and went to mine we where only taking our treasured things and the necessities

As I was going through my old projects and crafts I found a familiar old box that I have had for years a box I was meaning to show to Elizabeth but haven't had a chance to yet inside was a baby blanket and a little bear I hade made for her before she was born after I was turned I asked Carlisle to get a few thing for my old place and these where a few I asked for

So smiling I set them aside to put it in my bag so I had easy access to when we got to the denali's Maybe now I can actually give it to her and we'll sit down and have a talk maybe this will bring her comfort To know just because of one mistake doesn't mean I don't still love her as my daughter

After my office was packed up and everything was loaded we finished the rest of our packing and soon we are off to Alaska While Edwards stayed behind to tell Bella we were leaving

After almost 2 days of driving we finally arrived in denali I think I finally figured out what I'll be telling to Elizabeth hopefully to get her listen and understand that it wasn't her fault I know she probably still feels bad about it but I hope Tanya was able to talk to her and get her to come down a bit

(Tanya's pov)

It was only a little over A-day or so after Elizabeth left that I got a call from Carlyle letting me know that him and his family would be moving out of forks And asking if they could stay with us for a little while why they make their permanent arrangements

When I asked what happened he just said we'll talk about it when we get there then saying he had to help the rest of the family with packing so he hung up I was nervous wondering if something happened to Elizabeth or Something but I figured that they'll just explain it when they show up

When they didn't just show up I got a little nervous why didn't they just have Elizabeth teleport them but then I figured maybe they were just driving Or maybe it would have took too much out of Elizabeth to move so many things I know from the test that Elizabeth and Eleazar had been doing That if she pushes herself too far Teleporting herself or things Will strain her so much that she'll have to consume more blood

Sure enough 2 days later I hear the car pulling down our drive and I run outside I was more excited to see Elizabeth than anything we haven't been so far apart since we met each other and realized we where mates so being away for this long made me realize I missed my mate

I waited with excitement as I watched 3 cars pull up soon that excitement died down when I couldn't smell her or see her in the cars where'd she go I was confused so when Carlisle stepped out Of his car with Esme i stared at him confused as they both looked rather sad a bit

"So what happened " I asked as the came closer they looked at each other fist both seemed confused then the looked at me

"Elizabeth didn't tell you anything" Esme asked I got really nervous at that

"No she was with you all so I assumed you all would tell me when you got here where is she" I asked as I looked at the others that got out of their cars and was making their way to us

Now it was Esme who looked worried as she looked at me "What do you mean Tanya she teleported Away the night of bellas birthday party she didn't come here when she left" she asked and I shook my head

My heart felt like it drop at the information that Elizabeth left them and fad yet to show back up here by this time the rest of my family has came out of the house obviously hearing what they just said beacuse Kate came up and put her arm around my waist as I still stood there frozen trying to comprehend what they said

"Alright Carlisle why don't you all come in and tell us what exactly happened and maybe we can figure out where Elizabeth is " Eleazar said

Kate pulled me in to the house and we sat there as Carlisle explained what happened at the party the Esme told us what happened after they got Elizabeth in to the woods before she left

After they told us everything I sat there thinking of where she could be after a few minutes Laurent spoke up "I believe I might know where she is I'll go and see if she is there"

My head snaped up to him and I got up along with Esme "I'll go with you as well " we both said as I went to walk towards him but he held up his hand

"No I believe it would be better if I went alone" he said receiving a glare frome me

Also just a little filler chapter while I debate on how I want to play the whole Laurent thing if I keep him alive I am going to have to change the plot up a bit for eclipse and breaking dawn let me know what yall think should he live or what ????
