Esme's lost daughter ( A tanya denali love story)

(Esme's pove)

I won't lie it is hard to believe that this woman is my daughter  Most people in my situation wouldn't believe it but I do she looks so much like me she even has the sweet little smile that my baby had and the way she acts seems so much like me when I was younger so playful and mischievous I can't help but smile thinking that my little girl did make it

"Alright Elizabeth so tell me how did you end up like this" I ask as every else seems to gather wanting to know as well

She grabs Tanya's hands as if wanting comfort from all the eyes that are staring at her I smile at her encouragingly

" Well I feel I should start off by saying that when I turned 16 in 1937 A few months after my birthday my Grandfather passed away and a month later my grandmother passed away so I was left by myself"

"After grandmother's funeral I sold the farm to another farmer down the road and bought me a little house in the woods and with the money that I had left I had went and decided I would do some traveling"

" When I turned 20 I decided to see what was outside of the United States I went to Canada I was outside of Ontario camping in 1942 since I was there for a few days exploring guess Laurent was watching me the whole time after about a week of me being there he appeared out of know where one day and looked at me before sitting down so we could converse"

"We talked for a few hours not much we just introduced ourselves telling each other a little bit about ourselves That night I went to sleep thinking he had left but he didn't he came into my tent and bit me I guess he just wanted some company I don't know since then I've been with him he's taught me a lot of things while he also kept me out of trouble"

"Over time we became closer and closer I now consider him a brother I think in about 1995 we met James and Victoria  I think Victoria just wanted us for some protection and James was interested in my gift there where times I believe he felt invincible with my teleportation and Victoria's gift of evasion" she tells us

"So that's why we weren't able to catch her it's her gift she can get away"  Jasper says I see her nod her head  "Yes she sort of has like this heightened sense that lets her know when danger is coming and when to run so if you where to go after her that might be why she got away though if you don't mind me asking what happened to James" she asks

"He unfortunately wouldn't let up on his hunt for Bella so we had to get rid of him I'm sorry" Carlisle says she just shakes her head " Don't be me and Laurent knew this little game of his was going to get him killed one day it was only a matter of time I'm just sorry that he went after someone close to your family"

"But if Victoria left and got away don't underestimate her James was her mate She may be gone now but she might come back to try and get vengeance for her loss I'm not sure how she would do it I know she won't go to the voltori she's afraid of them" she warns

"As is a lot of people but thank you for the warning" Carlisle tells her she then looks at me "that's how it happened for me now what about what happened to you mother"

"After I was told that you were gone and they wouldn't even let me say goodbye I was heartbroken... I was heartbroken and in a haze I wanted to be with you so bad so when I left the hospital I took my car to a cliff and jumped"

"I didn't die like I thought I was going to I thought it was going to be instant but I was still alive and in pain I can remember them saying that I was too far gone and moved me to the morgue" I tell her

It was then Carlisle spoke up "I am also to blame for this for when I heard the news of what happened I went to see And when I saw her lying there It broke my heart I remember when she was 16 and broke her leg and I had to help her before I moved out of the town"

"Seeing the once mischievous girl that I took care of back then lying there broken I decided to help her I ended up biting her and when she woke I apologize for what I did and what happened but she didn't blame me though"

"she didn't mind I guess it's a trait that you and her both share not minding being what we are when it was not a choice of yours" I smile at him

"And I still don't blame you my love After awhile me and Carlisle fell in love and got married Carlisle already had Edward when he saved me he later saved Rose and Emmett and then Alice and Jasper joined our coven later" I tell them

We sat and talked for a few hours after a while Tanya said it was time for them to go I was saddened that she had to leave already but I knew I wouldn't be able to change her mind so I smiled and hugged my girl I was so happy to have her but it also hurt a little bit that I missed so much and she wasn't going to be staying with me She promised that she would come visit she said she would try at least once a week as long as it was OK with Tanya

Tanya just simply nodded and told her she did not have a problem with that as long as it was OK with us witch I had no problem It wasn't long before we were saying our last goodbyes me holding her as tight as I could When I finally let her go she stepped back into Tanya's arms And whispered one more goodbye before they were both gone I almost wanted to cry again Carlisle wraps his arm around me and tells me not to worry that she'll be back I knew he was right but just thinking of how much I missed of my little ones life and how I was only going to see her a few days a month made me sad
