(Lizzie's pov)
It has been about a month since me and Laurent had decided to explore together we where somewhere in the south and I felt like I had no care in the world I was hanging upside down in a tree just finished my hunting while Laurent was in the nearby city hunting He went back to human blood while I stayed on the animal diet I liked the idea of not hurting humans and I knew one day I would eventually make it back to my mate but I wanted some time to think with out having to worry about what she would think about me attacking that human girl at my mother's
Hanging there thinking about Tanya hurt a bit the more I thought the more I wanted to be near her and to have her hold me with a heavy sigh leaving me I dropped down to the ground and pulled out my phone Tanya had given me I debate if I should power it on or not I sat down by the tree staring at it for a while before I heard my brother voice
"Call her Lizzie I know you want to and she won't be mad you would be surprised what a mate would do to have their other half back " he said sitting down across from me
" I've been gone for almost two months with out a word to her she has to be angry at me I doubt she would want to see me let alone talk to me " I tell him while my head hung low
After a moment I raised my head and looked at him "besides what about you why be here and not with you're mate why stay out here with me if she's in Alaska" I ask him to witch he chuckles at right before he gets the answer me i hear a snap of twigs as it appears the sound of someone running fast approaches us
it isn't long before we stand and get in a defensive position next thing I know a all to familiar aroma hits my nose I growl grabbing on to Laurent getting ready to teleport us away when I hear her calling out "Lizzie wait I just want to talk pleaseI"
I let out a silent growl before Laurent places his hand on my shoulders to calm me down " its alright lizzie let's just hear her" He tells me I let out a small growl looking at him before I turn to look at her "what do you want" I say with a growl still in my voice
Her eyes move from my to Laurent and back i watch as she pushes her hair out of her face "Look I just wanna talk he killed James after you two left us" she says she tries to hide it but I see a sliver of anger in her eyes
I scoff at her "We warned him those little games of his was gonna get someone killed either us or one of you and it did so that's all on him it is not our fault he thought he could take on that many" I growled at her
She lets out a growl of her own so I looked over at Laurent "I'll be further in the woods when you're done talking" I say as I take off at full speed to get away from her
After they are far enough away where I can't hear their voice I decide to pull up my phone again i cant help the longing to at least hear Tanya's voice especially since I am aggravated so i decided to power my phone on
Staring at the screen for a moment before deciding to just click on her number and hitting the call button placing it to my ear I hear the first ring
(Laurent pov)
After my sister ran away in to the woods I decide to sit back down for a little chat with Victoria she looks at me "What's got her so upset" she asks as she sits down across from me
Dont mind her She just doesn't want nothing to do with this Victoria she tried telling James and several times how dangerous his games where even before the whole issue with the Cullens happened I will tell you thos though she won't help you" i tell her
"you could ask her all you want she won't do it turns out she has a stong family connection with the coven leaders mate so i know she wont do anything that could hurt her" i say
Taking a deep breath i look at Victoria "so what are you planning anyways i know you well enoughto see you hatching so type of plot what is it" i ask
She sighs before leaning back on to her hands locking eyes with me "Look it's only fair since Edward took my mate I take his an eye for an eye but I can't do that with out some information you both have been spending time with the extended family members of theirs I was hoping you learned anything and could tell me a little bit more about their gifts and what i should expect " she say seriously
Thinking about it for a moment it take a second to reply " i only know the basics I don't know what all their entails or who exactly has one i believe the little pixie looking one Alice I believe her name was she has visions of the future but her visions are based off of people's decisions from what i happen to over hear though i also heard her mate has one as well I believe I heard them say something about controlling emotions something like that to what degree i dont know then their is the big one and his blonde mate I'm not sure if they even have a gift I mean the big one is stronger if I remember correctly but I'm not sure then the coven leader and his hes mate I don't believe her any gifts as well the only other one that I know of is Edward and his mine reading" I say
I lean back against the tree i was sitting by "that's about all I know about their gifts really"
"What about how often do they move around do the do it frequently or do the try to stay permanent" she asks me
Folding my arms on my chest i i him thing befre i answer "last I heard they left forks weather or not they went back is beyond me we've been gone on our own forover a months now they could be back for all I know"
"Could you just check for me then tell me how many Cullens are still around and what they are doing with their little human pet" she asks
"You know It's gonna be hard to get Lizzie to go with me and I won't leave her jut I'll see what I can do if I find out anything I'll let you know other otherwise that's all I do I'm sorry Victoria I know we are friends but this is dangerous " I tell her
Nodding she looks at me " I understand what James meant to you but I can't Be apart of this after I get you that information I'm sorry but that we'll be the end of it deal" I ask
I understand I appreciate it all the same so thank you " she tell me It wasn't long after Victoria took off and I want to track down Lizzie
