I glared at Laurent as he told me no that I could not go with him to find my mate "What do you mean no she is my mate I'm going to be going with you" I tell him a slight growl leaving my lips
"He holds up his hands look I know you're my sister's mate let me inform you of this I have spent the last nearly nearly 100 years with her I know what she's like if you or anybody else show up with me while she is in the state of mind I am sure she is in she will thelaport away and I won't know where to look for her after that should be gone but who knows how long our best bet is for me to go by myself" He States
I just stand there for a moment, thinking over what he said he is right I know she was already paranoid of how I would look at her if she slipped combin that with how she must think Esme must think of her at the moment and it would not be a good combination to send me and Esme with Laurent
"What if she is not where you think she is?" I ask, still uncertain on if it will work him going to talk to her
" I know she will be there she always went there when she needed to be alone and away from James or just when she wanted to relax it is her go to spot for alot of things she built it about five years after we joined James and Victoria when her and James got in to a big argument one year she took off and made her self a log cabin in the middle of no where she called it her getaway she likes the place so much I know that is where she will be she built it her self"
I looked at him for a moment before nodding my head and sitting down. "Please just try and bring her home then," I said, and he just nodded before taking off
After he was gone, I sat down and looked at the Cullens then more specifically esme "he will bring her back. I just know it," I tell her as she smiles sadly at me
" I hope so. I barely just got her back. I don't want to lose her again," she says as all we can do now is wait
(Laurent pov)
After I left Alaska it was a bit for me to track to get to the old campground that I first met Elizabeth it was always our go to spot for when we got separated and sure enough in a cave high in the mountain Elizabeth was sat there in the clothes she had left Alaska in she was a still as could be her eyes looking black as if she hasn't eaten since she left the cullens
"What are you doing here, brother?" she asked as her eyes just kept staring at nothing. " Not even bothered to look at me
"I figured you would be here after the Cullens came to Alaska and told us what happened though I'm not sure why you are here though and didn't come back to me and Tanya" I tell her sitting down close to her
"I don't think I belong there. I mean, I couldn't even control myself around a small drop of blood the lifestyle they have, I guess was just not for me," she states, still not moving
"So what happened to all the times you where telling me how I could do it that any time i sliped it was just that a slip and to give it time that i would get the hang of it in no time and everything " I ask leaning towards her
She finally turned her head and looked at me the pain in her eyes matched the sound of her voice " you didn't see the looks in everyone eyes the look in my mother's eyes she looked devastated and it is understandable I show up and wreck her family she has made for her self then turn around and almost kill someone she see as her child"
She sighs before looking back at nothing, " and if that was the look that she was giving me, I dread to see the look Tanya and her family would give me if I slipped."
I let out a deep breath then got to my feet dusting off my pants " alright if that is how you want to be where will we be going from here should we go somewhere else or do you want to stay in Canada alittle longer" I ask while looking down at her
She looked at me again. " What do you mean, why won't you go back to you mate? You won't go on a rampage over a simple drop of blood," she asked, looking a little off
" your my sister rember the only reason I don't go on a rampage is because I have 300 year if practice but if you aren't going back neither am I we can move around just us two like we did before how does that sound" I ask as I look at her
She tried to hide it but I can see a small smile form on to her face before she nods and stands up next to me " OK though let's go to a place we haven't been on a while yeah im thirsty and i hear the rainforest has some nice big carnivores" she holds out her hand for me
"You still want to stick to the animal diet then," I ask her still not like the taste if it myself
She nods her head " yeah i dont like killing people as much as i made it seem when we where with james and Victoria but if you want human i can make sure we are close to a town while you hunt ill hunt in the forest " she says smiling i nod my head graving on to her hand for her to teleport us away as soon as have it
