Chapter 19

"Ate, may sasabihin ako."

I sat on my bed and look at Ate Ann who’s busy on her make up kits. May dinner date kasi kami ni CJ at aayusan ako ni ate.

"Hmm? What is it?"

I bit my lower lip and sighed.

"Kasi ate, kanina nag usap kami ni CJ, sa café. He said, he loves me. I believe him but is it too early? I mean months pa lang ang nakalipas nung nagkakakilala kami an—"

"Maria, love is a deep affection. I can see in his eyes the way he looks at you, I saw affection. Real love takes time to develop. Love also requires trust and knowing each other. You two are in your right age, you do know now on what to do."

"I love him too, ate. I know you know I haven’t experiencing falling in love with someone because all my life I’ve been single but I do also knew that you know I fell. Balak ko kasing sagutin na siya ngayon ate, I mean ano pa bang patatagalin namin?"

"Alam mo, just like what I said... Real love takes time to develop. Walang maaga kung sa loob ng relasyon ninyo ay kikilalanin niyo ang isa’t isa. All you two just need to do is to take your time and develop each other. This is your first time but I know you can handle this, basta sabihin mo lang sa akin kung may problema kayo, ako na bahala sumuntok dun, kahit kapatid pa ‘yon ng kaibigan ko."

Natawa ako sa last part ng sinabi niya. I already got the permission and I’m excited.

"Halika na nga at aayusan na kita. Six thirty na baka papunta na ‘yon dito,"

Ngumiti lang ako sa kanya at umupo sa harap ng vanity mirror. Ate first do my hair, next is in my face. She also the one who pick my clothes.

"Ate, it’s too revealing!" Reklamo ko.

She rolled her eyes. "Anong revealing? Your chest was a little bit expose but not too revealing! Ang oa mo ha! Ano ngayon? May self consciousness ka na? Eh dati parang wala lang naman sa ‘yo."

"Kasi iba na ngayon!"

"Umayos ka baka masira ang make up mo! Ang ganda na kaya ayusin mo!" She said and fix my dress. It’s a red dress na may pa cross sa gitna ng dibdib at may pa slit sa right leg.

It seems like the table had turned now. Dati naman ayaw niya sa mga ganitong damit.

I heard a sound of doorbell downstairs. Maybe CJ already arrived.

"Mag ayos ka, ako na ang bababa at magbukas."

I nod at her and look at my reflection. Ewan ko kung ako lang o sadyang blooming ako ngayon. I grinned. This is new to me.

I enhaled deeply for the last time before going downstairs. Kinakabahan ako. Lots of ‘what if's’ are on my mind right now.

My lips parted while looking at the guy in front of me. He’s wearing a black long sleeve polo shirt and a slacks. He is so handsome right now. My stomach twitch at the sight. He lick his lower lip and that makes it redder.

He advanced towards me and kiss me on the lip.

"Hi, you look stunning tonight love,"
