Chapter 9

EMMA'S POV
As i managed to get myself together a little bit, i felt 3 presences in this library. Now at first i wasnt too worried until it hit me! I have POWERS THAT ARE CONTROLLED BY MY EMOTIONS!! I didn't have a lot of time to investigate who was there because i ran out of there as soon as i could hoping they didnt see anything. I didnt feel anything power wise, but i only got them recently and i don't trust myself that much yet.

After running out of the library i didnt feel any presences behind me so i decided to head to my next class, which was fine as it was History and the teacher knew nothing, so i got out my laptop in the back, tried to keep my emotions in check and started hacking again. But as soon as i logged on, i saw a little black dot on the side of my computer. Now the average person wouldn't notice this but i spend the majority of my time on my computer, so i know when something's out of place on it. As i inspected the black dot, i realised that it was a bug, so i put it discreetly in my pocket whilst making sure nobody saw so that i could analyse it when i got home, as it would be too suspicious to do it in broad daylight. I was currently thinking about who could've put this on my laptop, but was knocked out of my concentration by the History teacher walking up to me. So i quickly shut my computer trying to act innocent

WANDA'S POV
After Emma ran away, i didnt want to invade her privacy so i let her go, but not before talking to Fury about something. I decided that i was going to help Emma with art by giving her extra lessons after school. And I could do it in the staff room, whilst everyone keeps an eye on her. As much as i love her it is very suspicious how she kept me out of her head, so i still need to be cautious.

As i stood outside of Fury's new office, i knocked. Suddenly Maria came and opened it and questioned "hey Wanda, are you ok? Do you need anything, got anything on our threat?" "I do actually, i was wondering if i could speak to Director Fury about it" i replied. She then gave me a big smile and invited me inside. She went back behind her desk, and pointed to another office where Fury was sitting inside with his nanotechnology disguise just like Maria and everyone else was wearing. "He's in there, just knock 3 times". "Thank you Maria" i replied quickly, whilst following her instructions. All i heard then was "Come on in". I really hope Fury approves my plan!

As i walked in Fury didnt greet me just pointed at the chair in front of him, indicating for me to sit. As i sat down he spoke up "MAXIMOFF, you better be here because you have intel on our threat if not you have 30 seconds to get out of here". " I do in fact have some intel on her Director Fury". I suddenly saw his ears perk up as he became more engaged in the conversation. "And what would that be Miss Maximoff?" "Well, as she was running down the corridor earlier, she seemed suspicious so i tried to get into her head to see what she was thinking/doing, but it seemed as if she somehow blocked me" before i could continue, i think i saw steam coming out of his ears as he interrupted me "AND WHY DID YOU NOT MENTION THIS IN THE MEETING!?" I didnt have a good answer for this so i just told the truth "in all honesty Director i was so caught up in the moment i forgot to talk about it as it only happened moments earlier" i could see him visibly relax, but still annoyed so i carried on talking before he could interrupt me again. "But i also found out that she struggles with art, because of the lack of help, so i propose that i do an extra lesson with her after school everyday in the staff room, to 1) get her standards up and 2) the rest of the Avenegrs will be in the room, so they can keep an eye on her. So i think it a win-win situation" i stated as i crossed my fingers waiting for his reply. "Okay, you make a good point, you'll be starting today, I'll call her up now" he said calmly, whilst i stared at him gobsmacked. "Wait really!?" I questioned. "Yes, it was a good plan, well done Wanda, but i don't want you catching any sentimental feelings, because if she is as dangerous as we think, you know what will happen" he stated calmly as he put in the phone number for the class Emma was in. I decided not to think of that, and look on the bright side and hope for the best
