"My Name" is playing on the TV screen. It was a long tiring day for Jennie, she finished a schedule and attended events in the morning 'til afternoon then she did Pilates before going home, quite tiring isn't it?. Resting after a torturous day is definitely the best thing ever. It was a pretty good idea to buy a house in L.A. for times like this. Also a pretty good idea when she thought of settling down already.
So, upon arriving to the comforts of her home, Jennie just sat on the couch, turn the tv on and didn't even bother to change. Maybe later. She picked a random series on Netflix and it gave her a Korean Series. It looks interesting though so her attention was on the TV screen.
Suddenly, Chaeyoung walks by in front of the TV flashing her smooth long legs in front of her. The cat-eyed Kim was surprised to see Chaeyoung. Wasn't sure if she's hallucinating, she's tired after all. She wasn't expecting it since she thought the blonde is still in New York.
She's wearing an oversized t-shirt but is missing some shorts, it made Jennie gulped. Her eyes automatically followed Chaeyoung until the tall girl disappeared by the kitchen. She puts her eyes back on the TV, maybe she is hallucinating. There is no way Chaeyoung would be in L.A. already, the girl is busy.
However, a few minutes after, she felt the couch shifted a bit, meaning that someone sat at the other end. Chaeyoung sat down next to her holding her tea. She looks at the girl and smiled and Chaeyoung did the same. It's been days since they flew to the U.S. but in different states. Jennie went straight to L.A and Chaeyoung to New York.
There is a comfortable silence in the air. Each other's presence is already enough. They are each other's rest. That's how their relationship is like, subtle but intimate.
Both of them keep their focus on the TV, it was a very intense scene. Then Jennie felt Chaeyoung moved a little bit closer and puts her head on her shoulder. It was normal just like any other days, things that they subtly do in Korea. Chaeyoung tries to puts her fingers in between Jennie's and it's still the perfect fit, nothing changed.
"She's hot" Chaeyoung said when she saw the lead actress on TV.
"Who?" Jennie asked.
"Han So Hee" Chaeyoung answered.
Jennie raise one eyebrow at Rosie's statement. She stayed quiet and looks at the screen trying to find how on earth did her girlfriend find the actress hot? Well, Han So Hee is hot but wasn't Rosie suppose to not mention someone else hot because she's literally sitting beside the blonde? Why would Chaeyoung mention other hot people instead of just her.
"And gorgeous too" Chaeyoung added enjoying the series.
"Jisoo unnie isn't fond of her though" Chaeyoung keeps on talking.
"Why?"
"Because Lisa and I have a crush on her"
And that's it. Jennie was pissed so she turned off the TV. And the next thing she knew Chaeyoung is giggling while sitting on her lap straddling her with the blonde's hands around her neck. Chaeyoung has this mischievous smile that made Jennie bit her lips.
