Jennie checked outside the window and to no luck it is still raining. She doesn’t know why of all days that she didn’t bring her umbrella, the sky decided to play with her and the rain poured like there is no tomorrow. As per usual the café is full of costumers because of the weather. Her break time is almost finished when her phone rang. She fished her phone out of her bag and pressed the receive button the moment she saw the ID.
“Miss me?” she said.
‘How did you know?’ Rosie answered.
“It’s rare of you to call me when I’m at work” Jennie said.
‘Well, you didn’t so I did’ Jennie can imagine her girlfriend's cute pout.
“Aww my baby is so sweet. The lecture’s done?” she asked.
‘Yes, actually I’m at home already when the rain started to pour’ Rosie said.
“That’s great, you sound tired, Love. Rest now. I might get home late. There’s a lot of costumers today” Jennie said.
‘Is that so?’ Rosie said.
“Hmmm, so don’t wait up for me okay?” Jennie answered.
‘mmkay’ Rosie sounds like she's stalling and doesn't want the call to end.
Jennie heard some shuffling from the other line.
“Are you okay?” she asked.
‘Hmmmm’ Rosie just hummed
“Rosie? Love. You good?” Jennie is starting to get nervous.
‘Did you bring your umbrella?’ Rosie asked.
“I forgot it at home” she answered.
‘the rain looks like it won’t stop ‘til tomorrow’ Rosie said. Her voice is full of concern.
“Yeah, but I hope it will later” Jennie tries to calm her girl.
‘hope so’ it was silent after that.
“I should go now, break time’s over. I'll see you later. I love you” Jennie said, although she doesn't want to end the call.
‘sure. I’ll see you.’ Rosie said and ended the phone call.
Hearing Rosie’s voice made her recharged and get ready for another shift. A lot of energy is needed for the number of costumers going in and out of the café. Working part time has saved Jennie from being broke. Living with her girlfriend helped her big time. It lessened her expenses, studying to be a Vet is expensive. She really wants to work hard not just for herself, but for her family and her future with Rosie.

“Babe! Get ready we are going out!” Wendy said when she slammed the door open surprising Rosie on the living room couch.
“What the hell Son Seungwan?! Are you trying to kill me?" Rosie shouted.
“Oh, there you are! Hurry up we are going to eat out” Wendy said like she didn’t scare the living daylights out of Rosie.
“In this kind of weather? Are you freaking mental?” Rosie asked.
“Well, Jisoo and I are too lazy to cook something and I bet you are too, soooo……” Wendy reasoned out.
“Fine” Rosie said.
“yey!” Wendy said with a little celebratory dance.
“But I need you to drive by the café, I’ll just bring something for Jennie” Rosie said.
“No problem babe. Jisoo's driving" Wendy said.

The chimes rang indicating a newly arrived costumer, the café workers warmly greeted the girl who just came in. One waitress tended to the new costumer.
“Hi, welcome to Coffee House. The place has no vacancy right now so are you willing to wait for 5 minutes?” the waitress politely asked her. She knows the girl, Wendy gushed about her a few times already but her best friend is a bit of a shy idiot.
“Oh… I’m okay. I’m looking for Jennie Kim?” Rosie asked.
“Jennie. Oh, a special menu I see" the waitress teased. And Rosie blushed.
"One Jennie Kim for our lovely costumer coming right up!” the waitress shouted as if she ordered something.
Jennie on the other hand was surprised when she heard her name and the moment she whipped her head towards the door a smile automatically pasted on her beautiful face.
“Hey…” Jennie said.
“H-hi!” Rosie awkwardly greeted since a lot of eyes are watching them.
“What are you doing here?” Jennie asked.
“I just-" A loud honk was heard from the outside of the café.
“I brought you an umbrella” Rosie said. She gave Jennie the umbrella that she brought from home.
“Thank you, but it’s raining so hard, Love” Jennie said.
“The unnies wanted to eat out” Rosie answered.
Another honk came.
“And I think they are hangry already” Jennie said half joking.
“Yeah… I’ll see you at home” Rosie said and gave Jennie a peck on the cheek and ran outside the café to the car that was waiting for her.
Jennie was left blushing in the middle of the crowd that was cheering for her.
"Wannie's in that car but she didn't even say hi to me" she heard Irene said.
"You introduce yourself first you dumb dumb" Jennie told her best friend.
"But I'm shy" Irene pouts.
"Then better luck next time" Jennie teased and walked towards the break room to put her umbrella in her bag. That's the only time she noticed the note on the umbrella.
-Don't get wet- the note says.
-Unless you're in the shower with me- when she flips it.
"Roseanne Park you naughty" Jennie said and shook her head.
