I felt the car rock a little as we came to a complete stop. My forehead slid off my knee and I quickly jerked my head up. Sadly, I was at the doctors office, "Baby, we're here." he said as he reached over and rubbed my knee.

I yawned, stretched, and proceeded to rub my tired eyes, "Oh joy, I get to go get that nasty gooey crap all over my belly." I grumbled.

"Wow, somebody is excited. Baby, we can get you some lunch after if you want. No need to be grumpy." He replied as he slid out of the seat. He ran around to my door and grabbed my hand and helped me out. I stood up and stretched again.

I  was pulling up my pants around my belly, but before I could get the waist band all the way up Ethan put his hands on my waist, "Wait." He whispered as he leaned down and kissed my round stomach tenderly. "Now lets go and find out what our little one is!" He said cheerfully as he stood back up. He pulled my waist band up and my tank top down. I couldn't help but smile, my life was perfect.

Ethan began to walk, but I was still daydreaming. "Come on, babe lets get going!" he called from across the parking lot, he ran back over to me and stood toe to toe with me. He kissed me softly and slid his hands from my waist to and into my palms joining how hands together. He kissed me one more time, and pulled me along like a little dog.

"Hi, Marie and Ethan Hunt here for out 2:30 appointment." Ethan said to the nice lady behind the glass in the office, she looked up at us and slid a highlighter under the little slit in the glass. "Find your name and highlight it, Sir." She replied in a nasty tone, I rolled my eyes and laughed at her with pity. Ethan grabbed the highlighter and swiped it across our name.

Ethan tapped the glass with some attitude and a little grin. The lady rolled her eyes and reached out to drag the clip board under the glass back into her office. I interlocked my arm with Ethan's as he leaned up against the counter. "Insurance card and license" She snipped. Ethan reached into his wallet and fished out our cards. He slapped them onto the counter right in front of her little window, just out of arms reach. The lady stuck out her bottom jaw in disgust, she growled under her breath. "Mhm, you two can go have a seat over in the chairs by the window. The doctor will be with you shortly." the lady puffed, and pointed her pen towards the seats.

I rubbed Ethan's arm followed and gave him a little tug, "Come on baby, lets go sit down." I smiled.

I sat down in the uncomfortable chair right by the window and next to the table with the magazines I always sit at. I skimmed through the magazines to check if they have any new ones since the last time I was here. I felt Ethan reach over me to grab a sports magazine, he started to skim through not really paying attention, just trying to pass time. Ethan reached over and placed his hand on my thigh, he started to trace little circles. I smiled and placed  my hands on my little baby, I couldn't help but smile.

At least an hour passed, people had been coming in and out but we remained in our seats. After a while a young girl came in by herself, you could tell she was scared and didn't know what she was doing. I looked over to Ethan but he was asleep, the young girl came and sat across from us. I smiled nicely at her, she returned the favor. She looked around the room not knowing what to do, "Hi, honey, are you okay?" I asked sweetly.

A nervous smile tugged at her lips, "Not really, I don't really know what I'm doing honestly!" She laughed.

"Whats your name, how old are you?"

"I'm Zoey, and I'm 16."

"Girl, you're so young! I'm Marie." I reached out to shake her hand, "I'm guessing you're pregnant?" She and I both laughed at my obvious question,

"That I am, I'm six weeks or so, I guessing."

"Marie and Ethan, its finally your turn!" A new nurse called out from the door way.

I reached over and rubbed Ethan's thigh, "Babe, it's our turn now."

He jerked upright in his seat, "I'm awake, I'm awake, I was just resting my eyes." I rolled my eyes, he stood up and proceeded to help me.

"Good luck, Zoey. I hope everything works out for you." I smiled at her, she smiled back. I slipped her my number, "I know we just met, but feel free to call me or text me any time." she smiled and reached out to receive my paper.

"Alright Marie, this will be a bit chilly." The nurse said as she grabbed the container that held the nasty goo that was soon to be on my belly. "Pull up your shirt please, thank you." I pulled it up over my bump, noticing I looked a lot smaller when I was lying down. I wish I could be this small forever, but I'm not even in my fourth month. "How far along are we now?" She asked trying to keep my mind off the crap on my belly.

"I'm pretty sure almost seven months." I replied, she gasped.

"What?" Ethan asked in shock as her eyes widened.

"Marie, you're almost seven and a half months not just seven." she replied to our shock, "You're very tiny though for your progress."

I looked around confused and Ethan grabbed my hand to comfort me. "Is that a bad thing?" I asked.

"No, no, it's fine, I was just commenting on it. You must be staying active." that boosted my self esteem, "But onto the gender of the baby, congratulations, you two are having a baby-"
