AFTER EVERYTHING HAD BEEN REVEALED THAT HOPPER WAS HIDING ELEVEN, Mike was in pieces. Every shred of emotion that had been left to be built up was now coming to the surface and it was all aimed at Hopper. The Chief dragged Mike into a separate room, eager to explain why he did what he did.
Eleven was then left alone with the others, Anastasia stepped forward and held onto Eleven tightly, but also reprimanded her for leaving without saying anything. Once they had hugged, Eleven reunited with Dustin and Lucas. The older girl watched with caution as Max stepped forward, holding out her hand to shake Eleven's but was rejected when the girl walked away from her and hugged Joyce instead, the two of them leaving the room to go and see Will.
Max scoffed. "That was embarrassing."
Anastasia wrapped her arms around the girls arms. "Don't worry, Eleven believes you will replace her, that's all."
Max smiled at her, "I'm not trying to replace anyone."
"I know." Anastasia nodded her head., she sighed as she watched Max stare off at Eleven
Steve stared at her in disbelief. "How on earth did you know that?"
Anastasia shrugged. "Eleven talks to me, duh."

"It's not like it was before. It's grown." Hopper announced to the group that were all hovering around the table again. "A lot. And, I mean, that's considering we can get in there. The place is crawling with those dogs."
"Demo-dogs." Dustin interposed causing everyone to roll their eyes. "Like demogorgon and dog...you put them together, it sounds pretty badass-"
"How is this important right now?" Hopper huffed, becoming more frustrated with Dustin.
Dustin lowered his head. "It's not, I'm sorry."
"I can do it." Anastasia and Eleven announced at the same time, a look of determination on their faces.
"You're not hearing me." Hopper said stubbornly.
"I am hearing you," Eleven continued. "I can do it."
"Even if El can, there's still another problem. If the brain dies, the body dies." Mike added. "But if we are really right about this...I mean, If El or Anastasia close the gate and kills the mind flayer's army..."
"Will's apart of that army." Lucas interrupted.
"Closing the gate will kill him." Mike announced, as everyone went silent.
