THE ELEVATOR CONTINUED TAKING THE GROUP OF FIVE DOWN, it seemed as though it was never ending and it was causing them all to worry even more. Steve continued to yell, "We're going down! We're going down!" as Dustin pressed onto the keys again.

"Yeah, no shit, Harrington!" Robin yelled over every one elses' screaming.

Dustin harshly pressed onto the buttons and screeched. "Why don't these buttons work?!"

"Press the button!" Erica ran over, pushing his hands away.

"What do you think I'm doing?!" He sarcastically responded back.

Anastasia held on tighter to Steve than she ever had before as the elevator suddenly came to a stop, she ended up banging her head against the side of the elevator as everyone managed to stop screaming.

"Is everyone okay?" Robin asked, rubbing the top of her head.

Steve was still freaking out over it all. "Yeah, I'm great, not that I know that Russians can't design elevators!" He pushed Dustin away and continued to press onto the buttons in an attempt to free them.

Robin slowly stood up, "I think we've clearly established that those buttons don't work."

He turned back around, face beet root red as he exclaimed. "They're buttons. They have to do something."

"Yeah, if we had a keycard." Anastasia gestured, Steve turned his attention to her as she explained. "It's an electronic lock. Same as the loading dock door. If we don't have a keycard, it won't operate, meaning--"

"We're stuck in here." Dustin finished, as she nodded to confirm it.

Erica spoke up as Steve slammed the key pads close. "Just so you nerds are aware, I'm supposed to be spending the night as Tina's, and Tina always covers for me. But if I'm not home for Uncle Jack's party tomorrow and my mom finds out you four are responsible, she's gonna hunt you down, one by one, and slit your throats."

Steve was beyond frustrated, much like the rest of them. "I don't care about Tina! Or Uncle Jack's party! You're mom's not gonna be able to find us if we're dead in a Russian elevator!"

"Hey." Dustin spoke soothingly, he pointed to the top of the elevator. "What if we climbed out?"

They at least wanted to try, so Dustin was the one to open up the top latch from the elevator and climb onto the roof. Steve followed behind him, as Steve let out an exhaled breath. "What were you saying about climbing?" His voice echoed as they looked up and saw how far the elevator went up as the girls stayed inside, trying to find other ways to get out.
