Author's note -

Since everyone seems to be loving Anna and Steve, I'm going to be uploading chapters that include them but the time line is going to be off and everything so ignore that. Chapter will be extremely inconsistent but I miss writing them so much I decided to do this. <3

It won't just be about Anna and Steve but also some of the other characters will also be included.

CHAPTER ONE

THE SUN WAS BEGINING TO SET by the time that Steve had gotten home, he had planned to go round to Anastasia's house that she lived in with Hopper and Eleven. However, work at Scoops Ahoy had made him feel exhausted so he headed straight to bed, not listening to the sound of the house telephone ringing as his head hit the pillow.

The following day, he had remembered their plans from the previous night as he quickly got himself dressed, immediately heading out of the door with his shoe laces untied as he rushed over to the Hopper household.

Knocking on the door with his hair still messy as he ran his hand through it to try and make it neater, Jim Hopper opened the door, a stern look on his face as he crossed his arms over his chest, glaring at Steve who gulped nervously.

"Harrington."

"Hopper, is...Is Anna in there?" Steve asked, attempting to glance over the older man's shoulder but his view was blocked.

Hopper hummed, rubbing a hand over his chin before speaking. "She is."

"Could I see her?" Steve questioned, tapping the heel of his foot nervously against the floor as he tried to get Hopper to let him inside. "Please, Sir?"

"She doesn't want to see you, kid." Hopper sighed, dropping the act for a moment. As much as he wanted to threaten Steve and make sure he didn't see Anastasia again, like he had done with Mike and Eleven, he saw the love in their eyes whenever they looked at each other, and no one could ever deny that when they saw one another.

They were soulmates, destined for one another.

"Listen, I know that I messed up last night but please, I need to explain to her what happened because it was work and I got so exhausted that I ended up falling asleep and-" Steve continued rambling on as he felt himself running out of breath.

Hopper sighed, rolling his eyes too himself. "Harrington, kid, calm down. Anna was up all night waiting for you until she fell asleep on the couch, and we both know how uncomfortable that couch is." As he slowly opened the door, he revealed Anastasia standing with her arms crossed, the same posture that Hopper had as she glared at him. "I'll leave you two to it."

As Hopper walked away, Anastasia moved into his place, leaning against the door frame as she stared at Steve. "You're forgiven."

"What?" Steve asked, his jaw dropping as he spoke. "Just like that? Are you sure?"

Anastasia laughed, the dimples in her cheeks coming out as she blushed. "Yes, you're forgiven. But do it again and you won't wanna know what's going to happen to you."

"It won't happen again, I promise." Steve grinned, bringing her into his chest as he kissed the crown of her forehead. "By the way, Hopper is so intimidating I really thought I was going to wet my pants."

She laughed louder, holding onto his hand as they walked inside. As they headed into the living room, they sat down on the couch. "He can be pretty scary, but never too me so I'm alright with it."

"Of course you are, I don't think I've ever seen Hopper even glare at you." Steve commented, leaning back with his arm across her as she rested her head onto her chest. "If you didn't show up on his doorstep then we wouldn't even know one another, that's crazy."

"Are you, Steve Harrington, becoming soft?" Anastasia gasped, leaning further into him.

Steve smirked, kissing her forehead again. "Oh, I'm never soft with you."

"Shut up." Anastasia hit him on the thigh. "And don't say kinky like Dustin taught you, I will literally beg you not too."

"Beg me, huh?" Steve questioned, raising his eyebrow.

Just as Anastasia was about to reply, the sound of the door slamming made them jump as Hopper walked out of the bedroom, refusing too look at them as he walked out of the house, heading into his car and then driving off, leaving the teenagers in the empty house.

"He definitely heard all of that." Anastasia commented, stifling her laugh.

Steve groaned, his cheeks turning pink. "If he didn't hate me then, then he definitely does now."
