Viper looked at the four of them. "You all have just eliminated two MiGs that tried to infiltrate the base. I am proud." He motioned to Tom and Sarah.

"And to both of you. You did great as RIOs. The higher ups made the right decision to allow you to become a team."

Sarah and Tom looked at each other and beamed proudly then nodded. "Thank you, sir!"

"Glory and Hollywood," He turned to them. They stood at attention immediately. "Phenomenal flying out there. You know how to work together well."

They thanked him. "Dismissed."

After the four of them were outside Viper's office, they all breathed a sigh of relief. Then, they high fived. "You know what this calls for? A celebration!" Jacob cheered.

"I'm down, where do you want to go?" Hollywood asked him.

"There is a bar not far from here!" Sarah grinned. She told them the directions to the place. It was a little bar hidden behind the base.

"We can wear our white uniforms; the flight suit is getting a little uncomfortable." Tom added, tugging at the sleeve of his suit.

"Then it's settled! Meet up outside of the main building in 20 minutes." Hollywood walked away. Jacob and Tom followed him. Sarah went to her building and grabbed her white uniform, then walked over to the changing room to put her flight suit back in her locker.

After getting cleaned up, the four of them informed Viper that they were leaving for dinner, and they drove to the bar. For once, Tom wasn't interested in having a lady on his arm, rather, he stayed close to Sarah. She didn't mind. "A round of drinks for us, please!" She waved down the bartender.

We should do a cheers!" Jacob said, raising his bottle.

"To what?" Hollywood asked.

"How about... victory? Since we defeated those MiGs," Tom suggested.

"Fine by me!" Sarah raised her bottle.

Hollywood and Tom followed suit and the four of them cheered "to victory!" and clinked their bottles. They took a long sip and put their bottles down.

Twenty minutes later, they finished eating and went back to their cars. Hollywood and Jacob went to the base, while Tom drove Sarah a bit farther out.

"It's getting late, we should head back," She looked out the window to the sky. It was sparkling.

"Yeah, but I have one more stop before we go back."

He went to a big hill and parked the car at the top. The sun had already set, and the sky was bright and scattered with stars. Tom opened the door for Sarah and went to the back of the car, pulling out a picnic blanket. He set it down and let Sarah sit down first. She shivered slightly, as she never thought to bring a jacket. He sat beside her and wrapped an arm around her, trying to keep her warm. She put her head on his shoulder and placed an arm around his waist, their body heat enveloping them. Her eyes wandered to the sky.

"Hey, look! There's a shooting star! Make a wish," Sarah pointed to a streak in the sky. It was coming in from the left side.

"I wish... for a kiss," Tom looked at her, a wide smile on his face. She melted inside, but that didn't stop her from shaking even more at the thought of kissing him. A blush creeped up on her face and she knew that she couldn't get out of this one. Even in the moonlight, Tom could see it forming. He laughed.

"Should we really be doing this?" She asked skeptically.

"No one is watching, it's the perfect time," He turned to her, his smile widening so much that it took her breath away.
