As Jiang Yanli arrived at Meishan Yu with Jinzhu as her escort, she was greeted with many disapproving stares by her grandmother and her cousins.

The current Sect leader was her mother's older brother and his wife, Madam Yu, the actual Madam Yu of the Meishan Yu sect who seemed to have cried as her eyes were red and puffy.

"I did not know you were coming, My 'sister' had not sent anything." The sect Leader had made a harsh sound when he said sister.

Jiang Yanli was confused "Uncle, I thought-"

"Well you thought alright, but your mother never sent a message, and we heard the rumors." she heard her grandmother spoke.

Jiang Yanli turned to see her very angry "We never taught her to grow up like that! And to think she's shameless enough to take up the name Madam Yu instead of Jiang!? What will people think of your uncle's wife!?" Her Grandma yelled at her again.

Okay, so now she knows why her aunt was crying, but why should she cry? It's not like they're talking about her.

"And to say we have not heard the rumors would make me laugh, you and your family are shameless." she turned her head to her cousin, Yu Xiuying, who was looking at her up to down which was RUDE!

"Sect Leader's, it was under my Madam's order to escort Lady Jiang here to improve her cultivation." Jinzhu said which led everyone to silence before a large uproar of laugher came.

"Her? Improve?" Her other aunt had asked before snorting.

"We have heard she started training months ago but there was no improvement which only means one thing, Jinzhu you better do well and repeat all I have said." Grandmother Yu said fiercely.

"I will try my best, former sect leader." Jinzhu said.

"If Jiang Yanli isn't improving with her core, she doesn't want it." she started there which made Jiang Yanli panic but she was good at masking her expressions with a gentle smile "Grandmother, I am here to learn aren't I? If I am not interested why would I show up in here?"

"Are you stupid or blind?" Yu Xiuying asked "If you are not willing to cultivate then you will never form a core! It would usually take at least 1 month and a half to see progress when cultivating a core in a later age."

No one refused her.

"Jiang Yanli, I am thinking, I will not allow shame and disappointments in my clan, Jinzhu, you and your twin sister are welcome to come here bit not your master, unless you also had your share with the crimes of Yu Ziyuan, You are either going to get hit with the discipline whip or be banished for 6 years." Grandmother Yu said.
