Meng Yao had been spying on Wei Wuxian the while time he was here but not once had he seen the other plan something or do anything suspicious.

Was this Wei Wuxian really going to side with Wen Ruohan?

If he did then it would make everything much easier.

He had kept an eye on Wei Wuxian incase he would make the guard sleep but surprisingly he just annoys the guard while doing his work.

It's really hard to atleast find a single flaw.

He knows that Meng Yao had been watching him from afar, checking him for any suspicious things.

Meng Yao clenched his hands at that "Oh? I was sure that I was discreet though."

Wei Wuxian shrugged "Better luck next time, you were too easy to pick up on, try again soon."

Meng Yao looked at the papers and bad hand writing on the table "Wei Wuxian..."

"Mn?" Wei Wuxian turned towards him fully and raised a brow before laughing "Don't I sound like Lan Zhan? Mn." he repeated the 'mn' again but this time with a serious face.

"Anyways continue!" Wei Wuxian said as he placed his arm on the table.

"Why don't you try demonic cultivation?" Meng Yao really needed someone to be an escape goat, Using Wei Wuxian would be the best one.

Wei Wuxian looked at him suspiciously after he said the question.

"If he is then what do we do?" Lan Xichen questioned.

"You know, you're siding with Wen Ruohan, wouldn't it be better if you learned how to use Resentful energy along with him?" Meng Yao pushed Wei Wuxian stood upband walked towards him "I have a great level of Cultivation, why should I abandon it for resentful energy? Besides, I love my sword." Wei Wuxian said as he showed off his sword and hugged it in front of the other.
