"Toxic Love"

To be in a relationship gives you happiness,
It makes your heart to beat like a drum,
It gives you stomach butterflies,
It makes you smile everyday.

Having a partner that love all your flaws,
Feels like you found the right one for you,
It feels like you're the luckiest one,
It feels like you're living in a fictional world.

To be in a relationship also gives you toxicity,
Lots of hindrance will encounter,
There's a misunderstanding will happen,
And of course the jealousy will occur.

Toxic relationship starts when someone started having trust issues,
But trusting someone takes lots of time,
It isn't easy to build a trust for someone,
Especially when there's no assurance and of course especially when the first trust broke.

Behind those trust issues were the jealousy, lying, and not having time to update,
Feeling jealous 'cause of not getting the attention wanted and needed,
Telling lies even though the truth has already been revealed,
And not giving an update for a day.

Generally, toxicity starts when there are lots of argument that happened,
Arguments that sometimes the reason were nonsense,
Arguments that sometimes took more than 24 hours to fix,
And arguments that sometimes lead to breaking up, getting back together and breaking up again, repeated cycle.

Toxic love is painful too 'cause of staying even though it is not healthy anymore,
Staying for the love they had for each other,
It is also painful 'cause of hurting each other by words,
Words that can cut billions of heart.
