loving you was a losin' game

In the middle of the night,
when I woke up with the
stained pants, I'd only one
thought, if my scars were too
visible?

but I'd given you the link;
to break me more than once.

days with nights, this street
lights are illuminating the dark
night, but I wonder— do you
ever feel like; what's wrong?

that's a joke, when you
have only seen the flaming lies.

forever, my ever after—
that's what you said always;
but was I? When you're the one
who gave up on us.

everyone said love can be stronger
than demons;
but I didn't know, to heal
you, I've to lose myself first.

where did we go wrong?
if the love fades, like the
colours palettes, maybe
there's no hues of tapestry.

that day; I didn't only lose
you— but I knew, I would
never be myself again.

our love was a frenzy game,
we lost ourselves in that hap,
reality sinks me back—
love isn't all we needed;

you couldn't hold me;
when you're the one
who stabbed my back.

one doesn't fall out from
this lapping of ties, when
I'm the one who fell; but
this time, I've to let go.

everything isn't about
happy endings, you got peace—
I will get mine.

once I was a girl; who blindly
followed the dark & acted
oblivious to my own rays;
but not this time.

maybe I deserve happiness
too, that's why I am gonna
hold it for my lifetime.

This is the sequel of — 'Can we kiss forever.' As I've mentioned this is based on a real incident storyline by
ScarlettBlackDaisy
This poem mostly depicts the third series in the trilogy of 'Him.'
