Hush-hush

Some men aspire to get high,

Some men fall faster in the pedestal,

Above the shining roof, towers, there's nothing

December forgot to pass.

Drowsy sounds echo in the canyon lake,

I lie, dream alone of secrets that's been buried

deep within six feet under, this pain of living

so touching, "Hush! What secrets?"

Life that's been left behind, scroll down

further in the north east.

So many lives, so less moments,

Everyone's treading so carefully,

What if, what if, what I'd known what scares

most to cut through a deep soul.

Here he comes, I hear him running after

to catch what's left behind, my heart swells

in the battle of dwell, that fans of my forehead —

Ain't I sleeping? Ain't I staying awake?

A constant buzz, as sweet as love,

Sweeter than drain dreams, clutching tight

Hymn of morbid stars, cease before daylight

comes, I did love you to the moon and back.

What could bind me— now hangs freely in the end air,

The life it left behind, what secrets are you leaving?

It's your secret, only yours,

All the world goes blind, in the night I buried desires.
