eileen's POV
i blink a few times, my eyes adjusting to the light shining through the windows. wait, why do i feel so refreshed?
oh my fucking god.
i just woke up. and it wasn't from a nightmare. this is a literal dream come true.
i glance around the room i just awoke in, sitting up. i'm still at yaz's house. tobie, bash, and Joe are sleeping and i can hear some other voices from her kitchen.
"mm. lay down." i hear a sleepy voice mumble from beside me. "you're warm. lay down."
an arm snakes around my waist, pulling me down to the floor. my eyes widen as i look at whose arm is around me. kit. he's still half asleep as he hugs my body against his under the blanket.
for some reason, i'm not mad about this. about the way he's holding me. i let him wrap his arms around me and cradle my head in his palm.
and, again, i find myself falling asleep.
