A/N: idk if any of you guys saw on my wall but I broke my leg, soooo I get to stay home 24/7 which means frequent updates! still don't have my laptop tho, that's being delivered on the 13th

but also!!! I uploaded a chishiya book! it's called anti fragile (stan le sserafim) and I cannot wait to write more of it

usagi turned to the little boy, putting her hands on his shoulders

"wait here, okay? I swear we're going to protect you"

you all walked away, leaving the poor boy to think for himself, you could hear the queen team running, their footsteps echoing throughout the building

the four of you managed to avoid getting tagged, leaning over the railing as the queen's turn ended

"let's get back the people they caught" a guy besides you said

"there's no way they'll actively work for the queen" arisu said

"they'd try to get back here as soon as they could" the other guy said

"right, let's go, y/n come with me" shibuki grabbed your hand and gave you no time to process

while running to find a queen team player, shibuki heard a original member hitting one of the challenger's team player away from the one they tagged

"they're not even giving us a chance" shibuki sighed

"there were no rules against using this method" you said "it's not fair, but it's not against the rules"

the challenger's time was already up, with no one getting a single member back

"we have to split up or else we'll both be targeted" you said "and stay like that for the rest of the rounds"

"I'm not leaving you alone" she argued "what if you get hurt?"

"I'll be fine, I'm fully capable on my own ,after every round go to the ocean's side and we can see each other" she reluctantly nodded and ran to the opposite direction

there was no one coming up to the floor you were on, so you thought you were safe until you heard footsteps behind you

you turned and made eye contact with who it was

Lisa, the queen of spades herself

your eyes widened while she smirked, you quickly started to run as fast as you could

hearing her footsteps grow closer and closer was terrifying, you just hoped you could outrun her until the one minute left was up

you were starting to get tired, but her pace didn't let up once, you had no idea how much time was left on the clock, but you kept going, even when your legs  burned and cried to rest

you came up on a member of your team, you were about to run into him and he just stood frozen like a idiot

"I'm sorry" you whispered as you threw him back, throwing him in the way and getting him caught

she accidentally pressed his button from the shock, and the queen's turn was over

you hurried to the side of the building and looked over, finding shibuki two floors down from yours, arisu was two floors up while usagi was one floor down

now that it was your turn you rushed, trying to find any queen team player, but each time you caught up, they all ran away

it felt like your time was up fairly quick, as you got back to the railing, finding they have all switched places
