i will start the rewrite of S1 once I'm finished with S2, i have some new ideas for some chapters and it'll be really good! if you don't care about the new versions, you can delete this book from your library so you won't see the notifications once S2 is over, i am also planning on reading the retry manga and might write that aswell

as you exited the queen of spades building, leaving the kid behind with the other players, usagi and shibuki stopped walking from behind you and arisu

you turned around at that "what are you guys doing?"

usagi sighed "we're going to find the others, so we'll be spilt up again"

"can't we stick together?"

"there aren't many games left, we'll need a lot of people to help, especially with the king of spades" shibuki said, she walked closer to you and took your face in her hands

"if we don't meet again, I just wanted to say that I love you" then she did something unexpected, but also expected from her character, and kissed you

it lasted for about a minute and you had no idea what to do, she pulled away and began walking away, usagi walked to you and gave you a tight hug, she hesitated to kiss you, instead planting a firm kiss on your cheek, and walking away without a word

you turned back, trying to get over the shock, you totally forgot arisu was there, he stood awkwardly

"uh, so" he spoke but didn't know what to say

"let's just go...rest" you said, scratching your head and walking forward, trying to ignore the feeling in your chest

"right..."

the king of spades was farther away currently, so you were fine to walk in the streets, it was the middle of the night probably, no lights around so you could barely see

it was mostly a silent walk, you and arisu seemed to make a awkward duo

he looked up, seeing that a new blimp just exploded from far away, the jack of clubs

there was one less game to play

"I want to finish these games and get back to the real world" arisu said, he turned to look at you "I want to go back with you, if that's alright"

"me too" when you were brought into this world, you hadn't finished just the last episode, and unfortunately for you, you hadn't read the manga, you knew nothing about the ending, was there even a real world after this?

arisu smiled at your words, and then he stopped in his tracks as he took in the building in front of him

complete destroyed, it was the same building akane played her first game in

"it smells disgusting over here" you mumbled, it was probably the dead bodies that stayed in the hot spring, decomposing over time

walking inside the crumbled building, some parts had the water was steaming, others the water was a good warmth, not too hot while not being cold at al

"we should take a bath! i haven't had a bath in ages!" arisu already took off his jacket and his shirt, you quickly looked away, then thought about your own body

he wasn't expecting to be in the same area as you, was he? you don't know how you felt being completely naked next to him

when he was striped bare you quickly moved to a different pool of water, placing your clothes on a dry rock

the beach had warm showers, but they weren't ever as nice as this, you let yourselves relax in the water, closing your eyes

"I wouldn't mind dying right now" arisu said

when you opened your eyes you flinched, as elephants were suddenly in your view, they definitely had not been there before

your back had accidentally hit the rock behind you, causing you to groan from the pain

arisu heard that and immediately thought you were in danger

"y/n?? are you okay?" he turned the corner and his jaw dropped at the elephants

"the elephants are bathing too" you giggled at arisu

"they're so cute, I've never seen a elephant in real life before"

"if we had never came here would have never seen this" arisu said "what's wrong with me? suddenly i feel, incredibly moved"

you smiled, seeing animals like this, perfectly fine and living well made your heart warm

you turned your head when you felt arisu's eyes on you, immediately you looked down to make sure your body was completely covered and he looked away

"I didn't see anything! i was looking at the elephants, I'm only interested in elephants! i really like elephants" he turned to walk away but you called out to him

"it's fine, you can stay here"

he stopped, sinking his body fully into the water, you watched as one of the elephant got water in his trunk and threw it on himself, you smiled

from under the water, arisu's hand swam to yours, you both looked at each other at the sudden contact, like he hadn't meant to do that at all

your fingers interlocked, he started to lean in and you did too, lips meetings halfway, his other hand held onto your side, snaking around your waist, pulling you slightly closer

yours landed on his chest, feeling the driplets of water fall down his skin, it felt surreal, like nothing could compare to this romantic moment in the hot spring

you broke the kiss, leaning away, smiling shyly, arisu did too, until his eyes caught something behind you

you suddenly remembered what happened here, he was most definitely looking at a dead body

drying yourself off the best you could, it felt nice to be clean again, putting your sweater back on you and arisu walked along the road, stopping by an apartment to sleep

the sun was starting to rise, as you and arisu looked over at the buildings on top of the roof

"i wouldn't be surprised if we died soon" he said "honestly, it's a miracle we've made it this far"

"we've made it this far, let's make it until the end, we can win these games, and go back to the real world, together"

A/N: i wanted to ask, since I'm obviously saving chishiya from getting shot, should the four of them play queen of hearts together? or should it be only y/n and chishiya? cause i have ideas for chishiya+y/n but if you guys want them all I'll do that instead

there are so few chapters left I'm sad 😭😭 at least i have again and anti fragile to write
