A girl named, Pain.

I've known her for seventeen years. I've witnessed the pain behind all of her tears.

Been a shoulder to cry on and a helping hand, I've sat for all the times she couldn't stand. Prayed with her while she hurt from the changing of her ideas to Gods plan.

She's a simple girl, it doesn't take much but a touch of affection. Beware of her serious attachment.

She's way more than the surface. In her mothers image, she's picture perfect, but that was always something hard for her to imagine.

I saw this girl at her lowest. Oddly enough, nobody else noticed. Her heart is golden and only being stolen a few times, she doesn't think she'll give the romance thing another try.

I've watched her pour into others until she ran dry for those who wouldn't even respond if she said "hi".

Looking at her now in the mirror, I hope to have helped you see her clearer.
