"I didn't ever picture you being the husband type" Izzy just bluntly says

I turn to look at her not really responding.

Mostly because I still can't get over the fact Mila went along with it.

She could have easily said she was forced into this.

Though talking about Mila she still hasn't come back in yet.

"Are you even listening?" Lucas asks

"Not really" I say honestly

I can hear Izzy laugh as footsteps leave.

Mila's parents left an hour ago and I haven't seen mine in a bit.

Honestly I couldn't care less it saves more questions being thrown my way.

"So I take that as a no?" Alex's voice echos making me focus on what they are saying

"What?"

"We was supposed to go handle business"

"Shit" I mutter under my breath

"It's fine Lucas can go with Alex I'll go with them to" Izzy volunteered

"Jeez thanks really wanted to on my day off" Lucas sarcasm echo's through the room

"It's fine I'll handle it some other time" I say trying to put an end to it

I can feel the tension between mostly everyone, it's like they don't know what to say.

"What's on your mind" Alex asks

"When did Mila's parents leave" I ask

"About hour and an half ago why?"

"She hasn't come back in that's why"

"Maybe she's on a call?" Izzy suggested

"Vincent a word" dad calls from the control room

I walk over to see mum standing in there as well.

"She not come in yet?" Mum asks

I just shake my head sitting down in the chair.

It's like I care for Mila in a way I always have but I shouldn't care this much.

Fuck sakes get control over yourself.

I clear my throat before looking at my parents.

"What do you want" I ask

"Well first things first the business you was meant to take care of its already dealt with"

I look at them confused as dad continues.

"And second when I say we I mean your mother more, but we want to send you two on a honeymoon"
