"Is that the last of things?" I ask

The past week Vincent has been busy with work and shit.

But considering I had keys to the new house I've been going in and out.

Mostly just getting furniture and shit sorted out for him.

"Last screw and we should be done" Mateo laughs

I give him the last screw as he finishes that up.

To be honest I was impressed Mateo and I got all of it done within a week.

Most of my projects end up not done cause I quit mid way.

He stands up hands me the screwdriver before grabbing his bottle of drink.

"Is that is?" He questions

"Yep" I smile

I place the screwdriver into the toolbox before closing everything up.

"Right let's get back to the other house before my head gets bitten off because your not there"

I laugh at that but he was right.

I follow Mateo outside before we both get into his car.

It walk already starting to get dark outside and I knew if I wasn't back at the mansion I'd have a panicked Vincent.

And considering it was my birthday I didn't really want any drama.

All I can think is thank fuck the roads aren't busy right now.

"So what's up with you two lately" Mateo asks

"What do you mean?"

"I mean ever since he came out of hospital you've just seemed closer?"

"Nothing is going on"

He laughs under his breath like he doesn't believe me.

As we approach the mansion I can see Izzy outside having a cigarette with Lucas.

We both get out the car, I head inside as Mateo stays outside.

I head into the bedroom to see Vincent walking out the bathroom.

His hair was wet and his waist was the only thing covered with a towel.

"Oh hello there" I laugh shutting the door

"Oh hello there to you to" he chuckles

"Should of told me you was getting a shower I'd of been here a lot faster" I joke

I walk up towards him wrapping my arms around his neck.

"If only" he winks
