(OH MY GOD LORE ‼️this chapter might be a bit rushed like a few of my last ones unfortunately, I haven't had much time to work on these chapters and I hate to keep people waiting 😔💔)

I woke up to Arthur tapping my shoulder. I was still hunched over the kitchen sink. I quickly sat up, but my back ached. I blinked my eyes open and turned to face Arthur.

"Hey, are you alright?" He asked. I nodded. "How come you were here?"

I thought of what to say. I didn't really want to tell him. I'd been seeing something outside, something moving around at night, but I wasn't sure if I should have told anyone. I didn't want people to think I was crazy. "I don't know." I shrugged. "Maybe I just walked in my sleep?" I smiled as I looked up at Arthur. I realized that I had fallen asleep standing! That was strange.

Arthur blinked at me. I noticed he looked like he was winking when he blinked, but I wasn't sure if it counted since he only had one eye. I quietly giggled to myself anyway. "Oh, well." Arthur said flatly, cocking his head backward. "Do we have plans today? I don't think I do."  He then asked me.

I thought for a second. "Hm, I don't think so." I looked back up at Arthur. "Maybe I'll go see Mr and see how he's doing. You don't need to come if you don't want to." I decided that maybe seeing Mr would be a good idea. I wouldn't want him to think he was in trouble.

Arthur looked just a bit worried when I mentioned Mr, but he nodded. "Okay. I'll go back to the church." He paused. "Um.. thanks for letting me stay here. Again." He looked down at the ground, speaking quietly.

"Oh, it's alright! I don't mind! Do you want a hug before I leave?" I opened up my arms, and Arthur perked back up.

"Sure." He sighed, letting me wrap my arms around him as tight as I could. I eventually let go. "Okay, don't get into trouble," he looked down at me, a serious gaze on his face. I nodded and went to put my shoes on. I really liked my shoes.

it was a nice day outside. I noticed a little white butterfly flying around some flowers. How sweet! I looked around for Mr's office building. It looked like a town hall, but mini sized. Like Mr. Mr was small. I wasn't too tall myself, but he was really short. Like, half a foot shorter than me!

I walked alone on the bright sidewalk, watching my feet, careful to avoid any cracks in the concrete. I looked back up and to my right. I saw Milo sitting outside of his house on a lawn chair, reading. I waved, but he didn't wave back. I didn't mind; he must have been focused on his book. I wondered what P1 was doing.

Eventually, I made it to Mr's house. I walked up the steps which were a deep grey colour. The entire building looked like it was made of concrete. Two rather tall, dark wood doors kept the place shut. I looked at the windows, but the white curtains were shut. I stepped up and knocked on the doors. I hoped Mr wasn't busy. Being mayor seemed like a busy job.

I waited for a minute before one of the doors opened. It was Mr! He looked a little worn out, but he still wore that same smile. "Hello, neighbor!" He gave a small wave. I smiled at him. "Do you need anything?" He then asked.

I shook my head. "No, I just wanted to make sure you were alright after yesterday."

Mr nodded. "Oh, that's nice of you."

We were silent for another moment before Mr finally spoke. "I've been meaning to take you somewhere, actually." I perked up, giving Mr my attention.
