I was laying on my bed with my headphones in and the music was low

I opened my eyes and looked at the person calling my name
"Me and Kate are supposed to be going to my boyfriends house..but I don't wanna just go with her please come"

I went and got ready in the bathroom connected to our room
I walked out
And we started leaving
We aren't supposed to be out but whatever
We got out pretty easy
Kate and Jazmine were talking beside me I had my headphones on and I didn't really care for the conversation
Once we got to the house I just tried to mind my own business
There was a few other boys there
There was like only one cute one
I was sitting on the couch with a leg up and one laying down infront of me scrolling on my phone with my headphones on
Jazmine poked me obviously trying to hide it so I slid the headphones back and listened to the conversation
"Yeah that fat bitch can swallow like 8 pizzas..omg Jazmine don't look like that I was just playing dont be a crybaby" Kate was talking

I put my headphones back on but didn't turn on any music

I leaned on the railing outside the house for a little bit and I was texting my big brother to see if he could unlock the door since I was just gonna go to my real house
I heard the door creak
I looked up and it was the cute boy

"Hey" I turned my full attention to him and put my phone in his pocket
"I'm miles morales" he said loosening up

I smiled and he smiled back

I put my number in and someone else walked out the door
