CH 4

Wei Ying is once again sitting at that sofa in
their main office.
But this time Jiang Cheng is glaring at him from the edge.

Wen Qing sat at her table rubbing her forehead.
This mess is getting bigger and bigger.

The first thing Wei Ying noticed after he woke up that morning was a text from Lan Wangji.
He was over the moon but the text didn't really made any sense to him.
It said

' Wei Ying I am sorry
But do not worry, I can fix it '

What sorry ? What fix it ?

When Wei Ying came out of his room still super confused he came face to face with a fuming Jiang Cheng and got pulled away even before his sight got cleared to take in the situation.
So, he got dragged in their main office by his brother without any explanation.
There he came face to face (again) with their mother, Yu Ziyuan.

No not in person, just a video call !

Wei Ying is a little bit relieved that she was not there in person.

So, after getting scolded for one hour without any context then another hour by Wen Qing, thinks finally cleared up for Wei Ying.

That group of people who were chasing him the other day took some photos of him... With Lan Wangji.

There is a photo of them in the alleyway, where they were pressed against each other. No one seeing that will believe they have an innocent relationship.
He have no idea how they got that photo but they never failed to surprised him.

Then a photo of them parting ways in front of his apartment...

It's not like it's his first scandal or anything, he is quite the troublemaker but the fact that it is with Lan Wangji makes everything worse.

" Didn't we repeatedly told you not to roam around by yourself ", Wen Qing said tiredly

" It's boring to just sit at the studio watching Jiang Cheng pose "

Jiang Cheng glared at him, " I too was sitting there watching you pose for 1 hour ?"

Wei Ying ignored him

" Besides how would I know that Lan Wangji will be there !"

" You were running, why didn't you ran away after seeing him ?"

" Now you are not making any sense Jiang Cheng "

" Don't start again you two, I will get in contact with Lan Wangji's agency...
We do have some plans of using this in our favour.
Keep a low profile until I say anything. "

Then she gave Wei Ying an extra hard glare,
" And by low profile I mean LOW. PROFILE.
Don't go around visiting random cafes and don't run into people that will cause ME trouble "

" I didn't ran into him intentionally - "

" Roger ! To whatever you said ! "

It's the same scene once again Jiang Cheng is sitting cross-legged on his bed and Wei Ying rolling beside him.

" Don't you dare rub salt in my wound ! "

Wei Ying's eyes twitched as he saw Jiang Cheng's smug smile.
He groaned, Lan Wangji haven't texted him again. He had seen all the good and bad things people are saying on the internet.
He is worried
' Did Lan Zhan change his mind.
Nonsense, he probably didn't have anything in his mind since the start '

" You are pretty lucky too ", Jiang Cheng said absentmindedly

" You became friends with The Lan Wangji, you even got his number and is allowed to call him by his birth name "

Wei Ying stayed silent for a minutes then gave a teasing smile,
" A-Cheng ~ are you jealous ? "

" OF COURSE NOT !
Why will I be jealous of you ! "

" Who knows ~ "

Jiang Cheng pounced on him smothering him with a pillow
