CH 14

Wei Ying didn't know what to feel. He has always blamed himself all these years, he can't get better in just one night. Also, Lan Wangji - he always thought Lan Wangji looked familiar, he finally understands why but doesn't know how to tell the other.
They hadn't contacted each other since they came back from the tour.

Was Lan Wangji angry ? Did he thought Wei Ying was playing with him ?

He don't know what to think ? From where to think ?

Should he be relieved that Jiang Cheng never blamed him or be worried about how he forgot his only friend ?

His train of thoughts got interrupted by Jiang Yanli.

" A-Cheng, I made some soup before for you two, can heat it and bring it in here, please "

Jiang Cheng nodded as he reluctantly let go of Wei Ying's hand.

" A-Ying, whatever there's on your mind you know you can tell me right ? " Jiang Yanli said as soon as Jiang Cheng disappeared behind the door.

" That time I really wanted A-Cheng to get selected. "

" You didn't. If you were not there at the right time something worst might have happened to A-Cheng "

Wei Ying shook his head silently

" You know A-Ying, you are very much bad at hiding things "

She called

Jiang Cheng entered with am embarrassed smile

Wei Ying let out a sigh of relief
" It's settled then ! Now - Huaisang ! " He exclaimed as he dialled Nie Huaisang 's number

Wei Ying made a face of disgust

They are at a villa party where Wei Ying don't even know the host but came as Nie Huaisang 's plus one.

It is the most boring party he has been to , everyone is too silent - but he gets it
When Lan Xichen told him that Lan Wangji is attending that party he was surprised but now he understands why Lan Wangji agreed to attend it. But he doesn't know why Nie Huaisang has an invite though.

Thinking of Lan Wangji he just entered through the doors.

" I will be back in a minute " he tapped Huaisang 's knee and stood up
