The pair carried on their exchange for several minutes until a distant geordie shout gained the attention of the young brunette.
"Scout come on man we need to go to the tower before it gets busy!" bethan exclaimed.
"alright! give me a second Bethan", scout continued "i hope to see you around sometime, maybe you can teach me how to get a good photo".
"i'll honour that if i see you again for sure!" josh laughed.
The girl turned and ran away in a rush, leaving the irish boy to stare longingly at her retreating figure. He did hope that they would bump into each other again.
scout's pov🧸
"who was that?", the group of girls questioned as she joined their side.
"it was no one, don't worry about it", she replied, hoping to change the subject.
"oh okay babe, we won't quiz you now, but we are expecting details later", abbie winked at the younger girl.
The group of girls walked further away from the past interaction and as they did, scout dared to look back but found that the boy she was looking for wasn't there. She started to regret not asking for his number as the distance increased.
