Ayanokoji POV
As we left Class B's camp, me and Kikyou made our way around the island, trying to find class A
Katsuragi is a cautious man, he most likely made his camp much farther than ours, recognising us as a legitimate threat to class A
We wandered and wandered for hours, making small talk as we did. Sometimes I do wonder, why do us as humans find it enjoyable and appreciate sharing pointless information that has no purpose.
I set that thought aside as me and Kikyou continued to tirelessly walk till the point we were on the other side of the island, where I finally heard it. I rushed towards the voice as Kikyou tried to keep up.
"K-Katsuragi! Is it really alright for us to sit here the whole time?" A boy asked the bald headed man
"Yes. We don't need to any points and it's much better if we play it safely, that way we neither lose nor gain points than what we were given" he said as his class's members slowly nodded, unsure of the decision
Not spend any points huh.
Some members of class A didn't seem to completely agree with his views but followed him nonetheless...... for now.
"Yes. Since all of our supplies were given, we are alright without spending a single point"he said as I decided it was time to reveal myself
I silently approached him as I got behind his back, somehow unnoticed by everyone
I touched Kartsuragi's shoulder as Yahiko stood right beside him.
"Hello there" I said as he jumped in a shock
"WHAT THE! Huh, A-Ayanokoji?"he said in shock about my sudden appearance as I raised my hand
"Yo, how're you doing Katsuragi"I said to him, greeting the man as Kushida finally caught upto me
"K-kiyooooo! Why'd you leave me like that!" She exclaimed toward me as class A got a suprirsed and confused look plastered on their face
"W-what is Kushida-chan doing here!" Yahiko said from beside Katsuragi, glued onto him
"W-what even...." Katsuragi said as i looked at him and just said
"We got bored and started exploring the island, we even bumped into class C and class B. Haven't seen class A at all this exam, any reason for that?" I asked him as he narrowed his eyes
Yahiko besides him looked uneasy and tried to hide his pocket using his left hand. A cautious yet very suspicious move in retrospect
"No particular reason..... if that's all would you mind leaving?" He said simply as I said with my still monotone voice
"Eh, why're you kicking us out so fast, worried about something?" I said as he narrowed his eyes further, focusing on me so hard I could swear his head could burst
"No. Just leave. This is an exam between classes and having you here is only going to do us harm. So don't feel offended, I just can't afford to have you here" he said as I sighed
"W-we just wanted to meet with a few friends from class A!" Kikyou said in her cute persona as I told him something to shake his morale a bit
"Yea yea, that's alright. Class A made a deal with class D right?" I said as he froze.
"What. Are you talking about." He said with a big pause, not knowing how I found out
It was quite simple honestly, Ryuen used a zero point strategy, he isn't the kind to do something without gain. So I simply put that logic to use and looked around
