Ayanokoji POV
It was the last day of the exam, tomorrow morning the results would be declared. It's time for me to put my plan into the light
I leave the camp for the final time as I am followed by Kikyou
"Kiyo, where are you going alone?" she asked me as I simply told her
"I am going to retire" I said as she looked at me in confusion and surprise
"What? why!?" she asked me in shock as I simply replied
"It's simply something I need to do alright? I will be gone now, just trust me." I said as she slowly nodded, reluctantly accepting
"But seriously..... atleast explain...." She said as I sighed and gestured for her to come closer
She follows the gesture and makes her way toward me as I whisper into her ear
Her eyes widen as she looks at me as if I am crazy
"H-how..... why!? Why the FUCK would you do that!?" She asks in shock as I shrug
"It's just needed, trust me alright? It's just in case retiring without cause doesn't get us the outcome we need" I said as she looks at me, simply staring and contemplating what my mind has going inside of it
"Are you...... are you fucking nuts? Do you not understand how that makes me feel you retard?" She says harshly as she grits her teeth
"It does nothing to you, don't worry about it alright?" I said as I got up, she grabbed my arm
"No! I am not letting you do that bullshit!" She said as I looked at her blankly, my eyes softening a bit due to her care
"Kikyou..... there's nothing we can do" I said as I grabbed her hand and slowly took it off my arm.
She looked down as she walked back to the camp silently, not speaking a word as she understood that I had no other plan
I trust you kikyou, that's why I told you the truth. Sadly the truth isn't what you want always.
I sigh inwardly as I pick up a rock, carefully placing it and aligning it with my arm
In one fell swoop, i bring the rock down and break my ulna, shattering a portion of it, a small break but a break nonetheless. I don't react to it and walk towards the teachers
They look at me approaching as Miss Chabashira looked at me
"Ayanokoji?" She turned to look at me as she gasped at my arms condition
I use a finger of mine to ask her to keep quiet as she slowly nodded
"I would like to retire, I need medical care for this." I said as she looked down and nodded, asking me to come to the raft which will take us to the cruise
I sit down as she sits down with me, she looks at me in shock and betrayal as she finally asks
"Ayanokoji...... why?" She asks, her eyes shaking a bit
"Just trust me, this is going according to my plan" I said as she slowly nodded, understanding my actions
She knew I couldn't be hurt this easily or if at all, but she understood that it was a part of my plan
"You had asked if you could hear my story, are you still interested?" She suddenly asked as I nodded
"I was in class D once to, the gap in classes wasn't as big as they are now...... the gap between my class C and the class A was less than 100 points and...... one mistake could lead to the downfall of a whole class" she said as I could guess where the story went
