Aaron's POV (Edited)

"Seriously, I felt like I couldn't breathe."

I spoke while trying to fix my bow tie for the upneeth time. Beside me, Christian chuckled. He was dressed in a crisp black tux. His attitude was on sky high today. Of course, it would be.
He's the best man today.

"Relax. It's a tad cringy seeing you lose your calm like a teenage boy, for fudge's sake."

I rolled my eyes at him.

"I'll ask you when your time comes."

I couldn't help but mock. Christian leaned more onto the sofa before sipping through his cocktail

"Not gonna happen."

He muttered too confident for his own good. The door knocked before Maura slipped inside. She was dressed in a beautiful pale pink bridesmaids dress. Her hairs were twisted and flowing down her back. An adorable yet happy smile etched on her face.

My mood ultimately lifted at her presence. She walked further into the room before aknwoledging Christian who replied back in a simple nod. Her eyes then traveled to mine. Her features softened before she muttered, her smile teary along with her eyes

"You look so handsome, my brother."

Her voice was thick with emotions. She was holding herself in.

"You don't too bad yourself kiddo."

I ruffled her hairs. She grunted before speaking

"I can't believe you're getting married."

A chuckle left my lips before I wrapped my arm around her shoulder. I pressed a small kiss at her hairs before assuring her

"You're always gonna be my beloved sister, Maura. Nothing's gonna change even after I get married."

She nodded her head before speaking cheekily

"You know Anastasia is looking drop dead gorgeous today. I wish you could see her."

My eyes narrowed. I had been barely controlling myself. Everyone forbade me from seeing her before the wedding. Although, we planned our wedding together but Kayden took her back to his house one week ago. No matter how much I wanted to deny, I knew Anastasia would want to spend some time with her brother.

After the wedding, she's gonna be completely mine. No-one can take her back from me then. The whole wedding was planned in 6 months only. We chose the venue close to everyone's conveniences. It was regal with a touch of modern art. It wasn't too huge but it wasn't too narrow. It was the perfect place.
