I guess it's time to eat

(Elena's POV)

When we got back to the room he took me all the way to the chair and simply told me to stay. He pushed me down when I got up again and we stayed like that for a few minutes; silently glaring at each other. He sighed softly before pulling something from the side of chair and strapping me in. I tried to see what was holding me down while he left aand by the time I had noticed the strap around me he had come back with a bowl full of food.It was round like a soup bowl but I couldn't help but notice that it was a pet food bowl.He ser it in front of me and tried to spoon feed me.I glared at him and clenched hard on my jaw. There wasn't a way that I would willingly let him feed me.He sighed before dropping the spoon and stepping back "alright you can feed yourself but you have to get used to me feeding you."I snorted in disbelief and quickly started winning. Oh yeah Elena: 1 Aliens: 0

I was so busy eating that I never noticed him staring at me, silently wondering why I was different from everyone else.When I finished the food I pushed the plate and all towards him and waited silently. "There's something about you that can't be broken.What is it?"I stared at him confused while wondering where the question came from "I don't know what you mean." I stated.He moved towards the chair across from me and made himself comfortable.  "You keep fighting us when others would bee mindlessly following our questions.So what makes you so different that you can't be broken?"I stared at him thinking about what he said.He wanted to know why but I couldn't just tell him about Ana.That would put her in danger and they don't need that kind of leverage.They don't need to know that the reason that I'm still holding on is a promise and the strong love between sisters.After a while I just answered "I'm just different than them." I could tell that he wasn't satisfied but he let it go when he realized that was all I was going to give him. "Alright .Do you promise to not leave the room if I let you go?"I raised an eyebrow at him and slowly nodded.He seemed to doubt me for a second before he let me go.

Unfortunately for him I was only going to listen while I explored and saw my options for escape.My first attempt was dumb and without any fallback plan.Next time I will be successful.
