Named Heart?

The heart is a monster.

For this is why we keep it in cages—

Our deepest, darkest creature,

Living—

Beating—

Drumming its fingers on the walls of your chest;

What's so unnatural about the natural heart—

Is that it makes the most

Unnatural decisions.

Because in its cage,

It flips—

To the second page.

Brings your life—

To the next stage.

I think most of the times, we don't know that we are in Love.

Is this Love? We ask, at some point of time in our lives, the monster in our ribcage.

There is no response—there never was, and never will be. All it does is go a little faster; press a little harder; beat a little stronger.

What it doesn't do is speak.

For who does not wish hearts could speak?

Then, we wouldn't be having a hard time in our lives thinking about what others thought of us, or whether you love someone, or if they love you.

We worry too much about affection, don't we?

So much time in our lives.

All we do is brood.
